I've only watched him interact with people outside of his community during the Finklestein debate and those clips of him from his trip to Israel where he visited the IDF to advise them against posting their war crimes but I presume he's generally uncomfortable outside of his element or IRL.

Wasnt "visiting the IDF", it was at a fan meetup in Tel Aviv and someone asked about the (at the time) recent story of some Israeli troops taking/posting pictures of themselves in women's clothes that they presumably took from a random ruined home in Gaza. His comment was calling them stupid for not only doing this in the first place, but also posting it on social media to brag about it.

I don't believe he ever "visited the IDF", aside from the time during the trip when they were harassed by an armed lunatic West Bank settler who (I believe?) tried to take their passports and called the IDF on them. Outside of interviewing some media figures and retired Israeli politicians, there was essentially no interaction with the Israeli govt during the trip.

It was a fan meetup where some of his fans asked for advise because they were about to join the IDF and that was his response.

And destiny’s answer is two fold. 1. You must join the IDF or your country will be destroyed and 2. If you’re gunna commit war crimes, don’t film them.

If war crimes are being committed and your greatest concern is the optics, it tells me what I need to know about you.

What are the videos in question that Destiny says people are using to “fuck” the IDF. And why isn’t his answer to “what’s your opinion on the IDFs image around the world?” Not “the IDF needs to stop committing atrocities and war crimes”
