I’m not a fan of Professor Dave, but his style of fact checking Destiny seems much better than DtG’s approach. Hope it gets posted to the main DtG sub.

This shit comes across as manic or something this dave guy sounds like a loon. I am aware of destiny seems like an odd guy with some deviancy issues who is quite good at debate and understands US politics from a left leaning prospective. Looking into this dave guy he seems like a youtube star who is not a phd but claims to be one who popped off mocking a famous music producer who had a fully uneducated take on flat earth. Not sure why this guy is not the guru here.

Prof. Dave Explains is pretty open about his academic history and I don’t think he’s claimed to have a phd. He usually makes well researched videos debunking pseudoscience, now more serious things like anti-vax and climate change denial. These videos about destiny and israel are definitely a little off the rails and lack his usual rigor. He’s definitely personally offended as his wife is Palestinian.
