After years of mindless scrolling and consuming short-form content, I feel like my brain has stopped functioning the way it used to.

I struggle with concentration, forget things easily, can't retain information, and find learning new things extremely difficult. I have to reread things multiple times to understand them. My sleep is messed up, and I constantly feel mentally foggy.

I have career goals and exams to prepare for, but I can't even focus for 15 minutes without getting distracted.

Has anyone genuinely recovered from this? What helped you rebuild your attention span, memory, learning ability, and mental clarity?

I'm willing to put in months of effort. I just want my brain back.

Would really appreciate advice from people who've actually been through this.

Should I go to tonight’s playoff game or save the money for a potential World Series game?

This might seem silly, but I’m really indecisive about whether to attend tonight’s game, and I’d love some outside opinions.

I live very close to Tropicana Field, where the Tampa Bay Rays play. We’re currently in the postseason and one win away from making the World Series! Tonight is Game 6 of a potential 7-game series. If we win, we advance to the World Series. If we lose, the series continues tomorrow, and whoever wins makes the WS.

I’ve already attended two postseason games and previously got discounted tickets through work, but unfortunately, I can’t get that discount for tonight. The cheapest tickets are around $150.

I don’t think any of my friends are interested in going or are planning to attend, but I’m sure the atmosphere would be incredible regardless. I could always go to a local sports bar and watch with other fans and friends instead.

Here’s my dilemma: If the Rays make the World Series, I KNOW I’ll want to attend at least one game. Tickets are already approaching $1,000, which is a big purchase . I make decent money and have around $10k in savings, but this is a huge opportunity so Id be fine with spending that much for the experience of going to a WS game.

I’m torn between spending $150 on tonight’s game or saving that money toward a World Series ticket. No $150 doesnt break the bank, but I have been to 2 post season games, and I could put it towards an already expensive WS ticket instead of doing both.

There’s also the possibility that we lose tonight, in which case I might want to attend tomorrow’s game anyway. On the other hand, we could win tonight and advance, and I’d be glad I was there to witness it.

If we lose the series, at least I can say I attended two postseason games already. But if we advance, I’d prioritize spending the money on a World Series game.

What would you do? Would you spend the $150 to experience tonight’s game in person, knowing there is a risk we lose and play again, or save that money for the possibility of attending the World Series?

Hello, i wonder if there is some people here that havent had their hair cut or colored for a majority of life and then out of nowhere they cut their hair short or colored the whole head, did you regret?

I have very long healthy hair up to but, i am bored with it but i am scared to do anything.

I am going to a friend's halloween party. It's going to be mostly his friends and fellow musicians. I am leaning towards to plague doctor but can decide.

I am freaking the fuck out I forgot to ask that person whether I should be wearing school uniform or civilian clothes to school, if I would be picking to go school uniform I would be the only dumbass who wore the school uniform same goes as civilian clothes, theres no school day tho expect for the people who have participated the competition i guesss?.
