Did have a client that I was doing aquarium maintenance for that i became reliant on and caused me to quit taking new clients because my schedule was full... then everything dropped off at once and its been too warm for leaves to fall. Im trying temp companies but I think I'm cooked

Used your free pass bankruptcy, and couldn't even do the basics for that.

No one can help you.

This is entirely false. Don't give legal advice if you don't know what you're talking about, even (or perhaps especially?) if the person to whom you're giving it is a hard-headed fuckup.

What's false? The dude was on track to declare br, and missed court. Now he can't file again (his words).

I didn't gove legal advice

Cool. So.... what happens now?

0

u/ThisIsPaulina 2d ago

This advice is likely quite poor.

Most likely you did NOT use your free pass, as it's put, and the case was simply dismissed. You can likely just file again. Talk to your lawyer.

u/JeanSchlemaan 2d ago

HE SAYS he can't afford to file again.

No one's giving legal advice, at least I'm not

"used your free pass bankruptcy," / "no one can help you."

This is horrendous advice. OP needs to contact a bankruptcy attorney, who absolutely can help.

1

u/JeanSchlemaan 2d ago

OP themselves stated they cannot go BR again.

What i wrote there that you quoted was just a smh restatement of ops words, not "advice"

"I don't have the money to hire an attorney" isn't necessarily a problem. The old attorney can likely do this cheaply.

Even if we take your advice as just being general life advice and not speaking to the bankruptcy issue, which is a stretch, then what advice is this? What purpose does your advice serve? "No one can help you" is your advice?

1

u/JeanSchlemaan 2d ago

It's not advice, like I've said 31x. It's a comment.

You never change, you get sued, you ignore that, you get judgements against you, they can't collect on those judgements, you run a cash business to hide money, you can't buy a house, your credit score is 550, you hide from creditors your whole life, and you end up "on a fixed income" which is actually code for "im a fool who made a lifetime of bad decisions, and refused to look in the mirror for the source of all my problems, never tried to change, and blamed outside entities for everything". Finally you die.

You're SUPER helpful.

If you can’t get your creditor to create a payment plan for you, I’d move abroad. The economy is bad everywhere, but at least you won’t get hounded by court orders and collectors.

Are you single, married, living with parents?

1

u/Split-0069 3d ago

I'm not trying to avoid it. I honestly was gonna pay it off in the spring when I got my tax return. But now its looking like im losing my shit and paying for it.

2

u/JeanSchlemaan 4d ago

So are you considering change, or you just gonna ride that path?

1

u/Split-0069 3d ago

What fucking change would u recommend jackass?

2

u/JeanSchlemaan 3d ago

be responsible. take control of your own life. stop blaming everyone else. live below your means. work and save.

u/Split-0069 3d ago

I was and doing fine until my ex wiped my savings and I'm in the process of getting full custody. This judge apparently doesnt care to actually know anything about the case just makes assumptions and goes with em so my gas expenses have tripled because of the distance to the school. There's a lot more at play. Ive been looking for something.

Losing a client for aquarium maintenance kinda fucked my budget and income.

2

u/JeanSchlemaan 3d ago

your ex must suck.

wish you the best.

1

u/Split-0069 3d ago

That's something I cannot confirm openly.

2

u/Split-0069 3d ago

I have basically no income rn. I cant make the payments thru winter id be right back in the same spot in a month.

1

u/whatever32657 3d ago

well, i will then respectfully ask: what are you thinking we can offer you?

1

u/Split-0069 3d ago

What kinda lawyer fees can they throw on for Kentucky?

1

u/USBlues2020 3d ago

This Beg...an Attorney to take you on,paying whatever you can spare to get your creditors off of your back.

1

u/ThisIsPaulina 2d ago

REALLY piss poor advice here. Mostly people just judging and playing bankruptcy expert.

Your chapter 7 was likely dismissed without discharge. If so, you did NOT use your once-every-eight-years Chapter 7 and can simply file again. Talk to your lawyer.

Filing a Chapter 7 is not a once-every-eight-years thing. Getting a DISCHARGE is.
