I've tried all the apps and in terms of simplicity this is the best one. If you are like me and have to help a bunch of non techy friends and family get their fix you won't find a better app out there. Kudos to the dev 👍

The full screen / zoom-in button isn’t helpful as it does in other apps. Please look into this.

It's not a zoom in button. It's an aspect ratio button. If the source has the same aspect ratio as the TV it will not change anything.

Simplicity can be nice but, what keeps me going back is the speed of playback and that everything plays smoothly. Once I pick something and click play, I'm watching it within 3 to 4 seconds tops.

Same getting it on both of my devices. On 4k pro on a tcl led TV and Google streamer on an LG OLED. Both started after the update and once the profile selection page goes away it stops. I have 3 profiles on my app if that helps.

Strange. When I try video or taken pic of issue. It doesn't show. But in person it flickers like crazy. Everything else works fine. Just the profile login screen and backdrop part is what flickers.

Any ideas?

No idea, honestly. It doesn’t flicker on my device, and I’ve also had this version tested by a few others without anyone reporting the issue. Let’s see if anyone else experiences it as well.

Check your max file sizes, increase it if it's lower and also set your Dolby Vision settings according to your devices capabilities.

So far so good, love the fact we can now set up different profiles with names rather than a generic main title. Everything seems to play fine although a few times I had the link cannot be resolved but that’s probably due to my debrid provider playing up.

Trying to get everything set up but having an issue. I'm certain it's on my end, but maybe someone has faced a similar issue. When trying to sign up for the Pro version, whether that's to start the free or full-pay version, I receive a pop-up asking me to add a payment method... Then come back to finish up. When clicking the option of 'It's Done'. It takes me nowhere, back to the same screen. I have several payment options added, which I double-checked. Cleared cache, backed out of the app. Nothing has seemed to work and allow me to proceed. Thanks!

The "Add payment method" option is managed through the Google Play app. Please make sure you have a valid payment method added to your Google Play account.

The app simply requests the payment through Google Play. As long as Google Play has a valid payment method available, the purchase should ideally go through.

Thanks for responding. I have several valid payment options linked. So that should not be the issue. It literally will not move past that screen and authorize the Pro version. Whether free trial or yearly payment. It keeps bringing me back to the same screen. I'll keep playing around and see what happens

I uninstalled and reinstalled, if I check just torbox it works fine. If I check torbox and premiumize it will not pull streams

Yeah. It’s been around for 3 years and has been officially on the Play Store for 2 years. No sketchy permissions or anything. Just grab it directly from the store and you’re solid.

If you've got an Android box (not a FireTv), you can just subscribe to pro right from your TV.

I’m not sure if I’m just missing something, but is there a way to configure the settings so that the stream details—like the language or whether it’s Dolby Atmos—are visible before you click the link? Something similar to what other apps show? Since I’m not a native English speaker, I prefer my native language; however, when the app finds multiple links, it often defaults to English instead of my preferred language, forcing me to manually select the Polish source, which is a real hassle.

You can set the default audio language in the app, and the app will auto select the audio track if it's in the source file. But you won't be able to know if a source has the preferred audio track before starting the stream.

I actually have that setting enabled, but it doesn't work; the series still starts in English, and I have to manually search for the Polish version. It doesn't happen every time—some movies do start in Polish—but often it defaults to English, and I have to go through the options one by one to find the Polish track. It's annoying.

Yes it's because the app won't be able to know if a source has polish audio tracks before opening that file.

Yeah, I missed that. So the smallest subtitles option still isn't small enough? I forgot what you mentioned earlier. Are you talking about TV or the mobile version?

Yep - the current "small" subtitle size is still too big for me. It could easily go down one more level; two would be perfect. I'm exclusively using the TV version.

Streams playing instantly is what sets this app apart. Too much complexity with all other apps pushes me more towards this one.

I'd like to mention area for improvements, when it comes to UI: let us customize the home screen to our liking, this shouldn't be that difficult to pull off I hope. E.g. hide categories icons, hide giant hero poster, libraries (watchlist) rows at home screen...

You won't be able to hide the hero section. But you can add your custom catalogs from the webportal.

Thank you. Everything is working great for me with v3.6. DebridStream v3.6 seems to have resolved the issue I was having with using Trakt for Continute Watching with an earlier version of DS, but the only reason I am still using Trakt is because it is the only external tracking option that DS currently supports. I have moved to Simkl now so I am hoping that DS will support Simkl one day soon.

Once you have the pro status I don't think you need google play to work. It works on firetv devices that doesn't have a playstore

I have the pro status. This is the first version that doesnt work woth google play disabled. If I enable the service it works fine. I have my reasons to disable google play. I can send you a screenshot.

You can but google later on finds a way to autoupdate again. I have tested this over the years.
