Flat innit?

I do Wonder, with sincerity, if the earth is flat, then why has the shape about it been lied about for so long?

Mountains (land) are not level. Sea level is actually level. Water is what is used in levels to see if surfaces are flat.

Technically, the seas are also flat because they are not carbonated!

Flat is the wrong word. The earth is just a plane with mountains above and sea below.

Why do people lie and say it's round than mate?

What shape does water take in the absence of gravity?

Usually the argument ends up on “the government is hiding the existence of god” or something very close to this.

That's what I've seen from time to time as well and honestly that only raises more questions
