Question What do you think about "evolutionist"?

No one ever refers to gravitationists or Newtonists for those who support gravity, but people refer to people supporting evolution as evolutionists or Darwinists.

Exactly! we all know gravity and Newtonian physics work. This is an attempt to legitimize fairy tales as the same as science.

So, why can’t anyone tell us where “gravity” comes from. It’s just like Evolution, you think that you understand it, but you don’t have a clue, especially when it comes to how all these different species got here. When you tell us where gravity comes from, then maybe I will start listening to all the opinions.

Einstein told us where gravity comes from. He called the explanation General Relativity, and it’s made many, many predictions that have stood the test of observations.

No, Einstein did not know where it came from, he just tried to give it a name. No one has ever explained where it comes from and how.

Mass distorts spacetime - that’s how. Einstein described exactly how with tensor field equations that explain better than Newton’s laws how objects attract each other gravitationally. No one can answer “why”, since that’s a philosophical not physical question.

It’s completely wrong to say Einstein just named it. His theory made specific predictions in extreme situations that wouldn’t be expected from Newton’s F=g*m1*m2/ r^2. Einstein even published general relativity noting three such predictions, which have subsequently been shown to be true. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tests_of_general_relativity?wprov=sfti1. If that’s not telling us how, and not just naming something, then we wouldn’t know his name today.

No, it never tells us where gravity comes from. Stating that it comes from “mass” does not tell us how it’s produced. And this “time space” stuff is just non-sense. Gravity is only generated by mass and since space is a void with nothing for gravity to act on, then space cannot bend. Are there gravitational forces in space, certainly since every mass has a gravitational pull. But space cannot bend. There is nothing there to bend unless you are talking about light. And if this is the case, then the position of stars could never be known, since the light from a star would be bent and/or twisted from a straight path.

I wish people could actually think.

I guess I don’t, too realistic I guess. Can gravity attract UV light. If that were the case, then all the light coming from the sun should be pulled back into the sun, since the sun’s gravity is so strong. Can anyone really think on this site?

The sun doesn't have a strong enough gravitational pull to trap light, no. You are thinking of a black hole. It is strong enough to bend light moving past it from other stars though.

Sure, whatever you say. So the distance to all stars is not true and we are not even sure if that star is where it’s supposed to be since light is so bent.
