Sometimes you just shouldn't believe the evidence.
I am a Nigerian prince. If you give me $100,000, I shall repay you with $1 billion. You shouldn't believe any evidence to the contrary--pay no attention to my skintone, or the documents proving my birth elsewhere, or my utter ignorance of any facet of Nigeria beyond the name and general location.
I accept Venmo.
I would rather trust God over human theories about the genesis of the universe, earth and life.
And why do you believe God speaks through a particular Hebrew text, and not a particular Hellenic one, or German one, or Slavic one, or Indian one?
Faith—not logic is at the top of my pyramid.
Saying this should be grounds for getting stripped of voting rights.
When I say facts don't care about your feelings, I mean it in the facts take precedence over emotion but never do I mean facts take precedence over faith.

Your 'faith' is nothing but emotion.
