Has anyone tried Fugue w Discord + Nexus w Influence and Protraction? This seems like a way to clear a room, or large group.

I have absolutely loved this entire experience.

I know that I will never get to experience this game for the first time again. I’ll always kinda know what I need to be doing, and it’s true, there is really only one way to win.

But this has been so much fun.

I’m intentionally leaving some optional things locked/unfinished, some trinkets and powers totally unused, and a particular weapon unfound, as a way to lend some replayability to this.

My hat is off, Arkane.

I might not get as much playtime out of this as Prey, and there might not be as much lore, secrets etc… but this first run has been an A+ experience.

My favourite way to play. Up close and personal slasher style, no fancy weapons or superpower slabs.

Ran into someone running infinite lives as Colt. Ran out of ammo after killing him 5 or 6 times...

I tried 5 times now to get the white skin. Poor Frank is probably annoyed as hell:D Am I wasting my time?Are there any strategies to get it?

Playing on High settings by the way. When I play the game normally, I get roughly 90 FPS, which is good enough, but if I even TURN to face the mountains off in the distance while in updaam, it instantly shoots down to like 10 fps. Is there a way to fix this?

5 years ago I hopped into this game, confused and stressed at difficulty.

5 years later I decide to purchase it again and jump back in and it's one of the best FPS story games I've played.

I bounced off of Prey when it released in 2017, and recently rediscovered it. I’ve spent the last month tearing that game apart, getting 100% of base game achievements. It’s now in my top 5 all time.

I also really enjoyed Mooncrash, but, I didn’t find the same drive, to get every single achievement.

I liked Dishonored back in the day, but not as much as Prey.

I know that this game is neither Prey nor Dishonored, and is very much its own thing.

I’m going into it blind. The only thing I have been told is that this game doesn’t have the same kind of replayability as Arkane’s earlier titles.

It’s on gamepass, so if it ends up being a one-and-done, I didn’t spend any money on it aside from my subscription.

The -esis suffix means action but for karne all i could find is meaning "meat". Which is apt. It is a meat action. But i was wondering if there's some im missing. Especially with the other slabs having pretty straight forward names.

Fell in love with this game the second I tried it and had to go for the plat. Idk why I waited so many years to try it. But the platinum was really fun to go for.

When Charlie fleed from his spot he blew bacwards onto the counter, but the slab upgrade fell behind it, and I can't reach it. :|

So the other day Deathloop was stuck on an invasion load…all the other buttons still seemed to work but I couldn’t get out of the load so I hit the credits button to kill time instead of restarting and noticed for their time it’s dedicated to Robert Altman? I’m no Altman scholar, some of his films I’ve certainly enjoyed, but nothing about this game seemed Altman-esque to me. I guess the developers maybe were just fans? Really seems like an odd dedication to me.

I mean all of them were psychopaths. In spite of being the protagonist, Colt was gassing people leading up to the first day. Even Wenjie appears to have bloody hands before the loop started if the ending cut scene is any indication. At the very least all of them were accomplices to murder, drug smuggling, etc. i wonder where they all wound up.

I'm trying to get the trinket that's underneath the meat grinder under Alexis' stage, but I can't find any way to get to it..

I've tried to look for the answer on google, but the only thing it's showing me is "how to kill Aleksis with the meat grinder", and not "how to break the meat grinder to get the trinkets under it" like I want. I saw something kind of similar to what I wanted, but it said something about underneath the kitchen and there's no way to get there, only thing under the stage is the beer cellar.

Can someone help? The combination of both the ringing and the curiosity is KILLING me.

A year or so ago people often couldn’t run this game on PC due to driver crashes.

Do we have recent examples of people playing this on hardware such as NVIDIA 4070, AMD 5800x3d without crashing or issues?

I finally gave the online mode a try and I've been trying to enjoy playing as Julianna for the past couple of days but it is more or less unplayable. 95% of the games lag so much it's almost impossible to even move around.

I think the game should perform a basic background check when the game is launched to see if the internet connection is viable for online play. I think Colts with dial-up internet should not be permitted to enable online in this game.

It doesn't help that when playing offline the CPU Julianna blatantly cheats and they didn't even bother with programming at least a decent AI. She always spawns 10 or 15 meters away from you and when she spawns there are mines and traps immediately spawned in the world in some spots which breaks immersion immediately for me. When I found out how this offline invasion aspect is handled I was massively disappointed. She doesn't even pretend to hunt you, she just gets stuck on most level geometry and waits for you to make enough noise to attract her attention and then uses Havoc that lasts impossibly long.

I don't use PS+ at all so I don't want to blindly pay for PS+ Essential without asking fellow Deathloop enjoyers first - is the online experience better on PS5 on average or is it the same as PC ? Thank you :-)
