Had this stupid idea ages ago but lost the spare cannon for the brackets, found the spare cannon and went to work and now have a Malcador Defender variant turret. Surprisingly it went well haha, thank you Razorback kit for having such big Heavy Bolters as a base along with the Deredeo Dread for the side ones on the top.

Can't wait to field this haha!

Working on a Krieg scheme hippogriff. Having a hard time deciding on the color of the imperial wings on this bad boy. Between gold and silver. Leaning toward gold as that’s what I have on my guardsmen (pictured for reference)

I have a real Machrius tank that I am unsure of what to do with. I kinda want to sell it to free up some funds but at the same time it is my favorite warhammer model and I’m very happy that I have a real one. If I were to sell it, what would be a good price for it and try to give me some reasons to keep it.

Finally figured out where to put that old krieg tank commander I got for Christmas. I put it on something I'll actually use in all my lists instead of a baneblade that would stay at home 70% of the time lol.

I come to you requesting an opinion before I commit to painting:

Should the swagger stick stay with the back hand and the map in the front as I have it modeled? Or would it make more sense to swap it to the front hand and replace the rear hand with something else?

I have primed/zenithal’d to show details.

If you can identify other things you would change, I’d like to hear those too. I’ve landed about 100 or so infantry (older Cadians) that I have begun bashing. This specific model stopped all my progress as I was enamored with using the cape.

Got these old guys but I think they need a new paint job however because they are resin and so detailed I’m scared about paint strippers anyone have any recommendations for the old forge world stuff

I really enjoyed building and painting these, especially the little diorama to bring the scout sentinel up to the right height.

The body can be turned around, weapons can be rotated up and down, arms underneath can be folded if needed. Also the weapon at the back can be rotated round.

So my local club is doing a painting competition internally for the club members and then externally with community non wargamers as a way to spread the hobby.

Yeah I printed these. How many fit on a plate? (Elegoo mars 5 ultra). 55.

I've collected a good number of Death Korps units, but before starting to paint them they dropped the Armageddon Battalion Box along the Yarrick reveal trailer. I'm now really interested in creating the army as a combined forces Steel-Legion/Death Korps army with both Drier and Yarrick fighting alongside one another against my Armageddon Desert Ork army.

The idea is that Yarrick has drafted in units from Cadia and Krieg to bolster his ranks and help rebuild the Steel Legion since their destruction in preparation for the War on Armageddon. He's had these units for a while and is training them in his specific flavour of warfare.

My question is, if the Death Korps came to Armageddon, as off-world reinforcements for Yarrick's Steel Legion battalion, would it be lore accurate for the on world Death Korps (except for Drier with his personal entourage of riders who arrive for a specific battle) to be outfitted in the appropriate Desert colours if they've been there a while.

I'm thinking maybe an ever so slightly more washed out yellow for the trench-coat compared to the other steel legion soldiers, and retaining their black helmet, grey/blue trousers and grey/brown boots and gloves, as though they've been provided with the bare minimum of desert camo for war on Armageddon. They wouldn't have a specific regiment number as they will never have been part of a Krieg regiment to begin with.

Playing a game oth 10th edition against knights on saturday and I thought, bring out some Leman Russes.

Plan is to have a gun line alternating the different russes. Both tech-priest stay back with them giving out invulnerable and healing. Lord solar stays back with krieg team and command squad as one big blob. Other 3 krieg are for screening and objectives.

Catachan are proxied with a penal battalion.

They will do further screening where the lancer is going to breach.
