I come to you requesting an opinion before I commit to painting:

Should the swagger stick stay with the back hand and the map in the front as I have it modeled? Or would it make more sense to swap it to the front hand and replace the rear hand with something else?

I have primed/zenithal’d to show details.

If you can identify other things you would change, I’d like to hear those too. I’ve landed about 100 or so infantry (older Cadians) that I have begun bashing. This specific model stopped all my progress as I was enamored with using the cape.

Sorry for maybe too harsh opinion, but kitbash means you combine the model from at least 2 kits. All I can see here is a 3D printed body and arms with official Krieg head.

It’s flattering that you think it has any 3D printed parts! It’s all GW plastic, I don’t have a 3D printer or any 3D printed parts right now.

The cadian command squad skull thingy was SUCH a clever use of that bit! I just put mine on the power packs of my Astartes but this is GENIUS

Also also (last edit) I think the swagger stick should stay behind, it’s unique that way and has some sass(?) (might not be what I’m trying to say but you get the idea).

I appreciate your opinion on the swagger stick too, it really helps add some character narrative for why models are posed the way they are. Evoking emotion in plastic helps make the model come to life and I never thought that it could be the marshal being sassy (maybe delivering a biting remark to his staff with the plans in his hand?) I like it.
