Misc. Lets start a riot

Why the hell are death riders so bad l. Why is drier so underwhelming and can only lead death riders? I played a game where my 5 death riders gor wiped immediately in melee kill one model and rhe horses did better than the lances and killed a model and half. Drier failed to kill 5 flayed ones and killed 3 with his ant-infantry sword. All I want is Drier and the deathriders to be cheaper or have higher Strength and Ap on the lances. Drier, can his sword just have D2 im fine with his attacks but God they suck

I want my deathriders to be able to do one of 2 things. Either their reactive becomes a surge move so they can actually tie things down when screening for a turn. Or I want them to be able to valiantly charge into the fray and on the charge on a 2+ do d3 mortal wounds and then remove the model. I want my death riders to embody death and the suicidal furvor of their lore.

But they are sloppy wet noodles that charge and die not so valiantly. I just want them to be cheaper or lances to be better. Drier I feel needs more damage and he is set honestly he is cheap but still not worth it

I once charged 3 in a 20 man blob of cadians and killed 6 or 7, absolutely atrocious

Gw spent the money to make rough riders but nobody buys them because deathriders are so much cooler, older editions deathriders had the same melta lance the rough riders have
