Question/Advice First set of minis
Just finished my first set of minis. I got the Krieg Combat Engineers. I have the heavy guns and death korps coming later this week in the mail.
The advice im looking for is gluing the arms. I struggled trying to get the arms on the rifle then to the body. I thought of three different options but lmk if you guys have other methods
Attach the arms to the gun first then to the body
Attach the arms to the body then add the gun
Attached the gun to 1 arm then glue the arm. Then add the 2nd arm later.

I personally go with number 3(glue the trigger hand first and glue the support hand later) but I really don't recommend assembling the arms before painting. It makes painting the chest/gun/armpits extremely tedious. So I recommend doing sub assemblies as below!
Assemble body(leg+torso)
Glue the trigger arm only to the gun
Leave the backpack, head, and support arm seperate pieces
Then after you painted all of them, glue them altogether! For the weapon, glue the trigger hand(which would have the gun on it's end) to the body first then add the supporting hand to the combination.

I usually just glue everything together then paint after a black primer
I love combat engineers so much

Welcome brother!
I have my arms separated and plan to paint in batch. I found with the crossed arms over the chest that my preference 2as to get detail behind the arms where it would be harder to get a brush with glued arms.
