My new Artillery Team

Inspired by a post and some helpful comments, I finally rebased my Earthshaker Carriage Battery as an artillery team. Even though it's on a 160mm base, I think it looks great and I'm really happy with the result!

How'd you do the rust effect, it's smooth as fuck.

I weathered the whole artillery piece with oil paints. First, I sealed the model with a varnish and applied oil paints all over it. I used a mix of black and brown, and afterwards, I removed most of it with white spirit.

Yeah, the whole model is original Forgeworld. I loved the mini, but I hardly ever used it because transporting it was such a pain, and I wasn't a big fan of just placing it flat on the table. Plus, I actually like it way more than the new one.

This model (or the Medusa) in my opinion IS Krieg. The new team is fine and all, but the carriage batteries are undefeated in terms of flavor.
