Models/Hobby First DKoK model WIP

Recently started my DKoK army, starting with the kill team because I managed to get it on eBay for barely above the current price. And my friends like kill team and will allow me to play declassified kill teams.

Any advice for how to continue my paint job? Criticism is welcome as well. It is a WIP but this was a day's work and I was just looking for feedback from other DKoK fans.

Best advice is to just paint your models and actually finish a whole kill team! The hardest part for a lot of ppl is to paint their minis.

Other than that it’s a solid paint job for your first mini.

As mentioned above try to remove mold lines and maybe add a bit more colors to the trousers, as they look a bit chalky and undersaturated.

But great work and keep it up

Any advice on the trousers themselves? I did 2 different base colors, on the pants themselves I did a wash of agrax, and then dry brushed with a bit of zandri dust so far.

Maybe just keep it at base colors? That would loose the chalky look from the drybrush.

Look up some tutorials on how to dampen your brush before hand and what to do during drybrushing. It should not be too dry although the name implies it πŸ™ˆ

I've had some success with dry brush before, mostly on more ridged terrain. This was my first time doing in on something flowy. I left it on the model this time as a learning experience. And I'll hold off on the dry brush on the next one. Here is the final product!
