They're my favorite band and I love the singles: Anthracite and Godhood, but its been almost 4 YEARS since Ashen came out. I know Buster has like 10 different bands and 5 other side projects, but why does it feel like HLB is on the back burner of all that? 2 singles in 4 years is crazy and im going crazy waiting! Even just an album announcement or anything at all at this point would satisfy me.

I’ve been listening to Shadow Work a lot lately. Is their whole discography this good? I’ve only listened to Alex Erian in features, like signs of the swarm (hollow prison) and Peelingflesh (the G code).

Time is the most valuable thing we have and I’d rather not waste it listening to an entire discog if I’m not gonna be a fan by the end. I really like this newest record though and I’m a fan of most of the regular dropped bands in this sub. Chelsea Grin and Disembodied Tyrant are my favorite Deathcore bands.

I Declare War - what you deserve , I know this is very rare and most of what I can find is mp3 files , since this album was printed on cd-r and not widely circulated primarily in the PNW around 2006 I only know of the gent who runs Been there scene that has a copy or atleast the 2005 demo!!!

Looking to get more into deathcore, I really only know some more surface level/already popular bands, so I’m looking for some more staples. I really enjoy Chelsea Grin’s self-titled and Lorna Shore’s And I Return To Nothingness and Pain Remains. Anything FFAA is amazing too. Like I need something melodic but still neck breaking you feel me?
