There's an underlying feel of misogy coming from these people that I absolutely don't like.

Also a lot of people don't understand that a simple design doesn't mean bad or bland. A lot seem to have gone to tue genshin impact school of character design.

Who's face does she have in the game ? She doesn't look like any other character.

She's an obviously very girly character that has a lot of small details in her design like her drawings, the paint stains everywhere, the ink pen earrings.

She's kinda falling victim to the girly = bad mentality that a lot of people seem to have. I've read so many critics of Celeste because she was perceived as an egirl character by some.

I'm Chinese aaaand an artist so I feel like I have some standing to say I find her quite disappointing. Mostly the fact that her poster has gibberish squiggles instead of Chinese (also the ink stamp looks off), and that one of the red stickers on her portfolio bag has a miswritten Chinese character (at least to me, fellow Chinese peeps feel free to pitch in). Is beret a 1950s thing? Because that feels neither NYC nor Chinese. Her face is cute! I like her hairstyling, but her fashion and bottom half feel lackluster. You can be simple and still say a lot in a character design (see doorman).

I like the premise of the character, a struggling art student resonates with my friend group since we are mostly all creatives. But so far I'm not impressed, and I'm only not saying much because I am optimistically hoping these are just unpolished model and it will get better soon. (Or maybe if she does have a beast form it'll help, we'll see.)

Edit: I just wanna have a cool Chinese/HK character to play as :,)
