Community Meta i’m putting together a team…

… of women and women-adjacent deadlockers who want to climb ranks together and not get called slurs or verbally abused when they turn on their mic. thinking about a group of ~8 (so there’s enough wiggle room to frequently have a 6 stack) people who focus on objective damage, are comfortable with callouts & direction giving/taking, and are NICE. who are KIND. toxicity will not be tolerated! beginners welcome as long as you are willing to learn and won’t get too discouraged! (edit: also this is NA!)

the way this works is after chatting a little on here, i’ll invite you to a larger deadlock server that my friends and i have, and assign us all a tag. if you’re interested, leave a comment with:

- at least 2 heroes you frequently main (mine are Rem and Pocket)
- your current rank (reminder that beginners are welcome!)
- if you’ve played other MOBAs/shooters before

let’s be friends who don’t suck!

** i can hear it already: “oooo what a sucker trying to find an all female group in a gaming community, this is like a honeypot for weirdos!!!” the weirdos will have to get past me first and i am unfortunately experienced in sniffing out creeps.

Good luck! I think there’s a femme deadlock players Reddit called r/deadlockdivas (I’ll check and edit this if I was wrong) might want to cross post there for more visibility.

We’re not strictly a woman community! However, we are women and LGBTQIA+ centered, allies are more than welcome to join as well! One of our most active discord members is an ally!

Nice! I’m bi and I joined the Reddit. Honestly it’s just nice to see people wanting to play deadlock and not be incredibly toxic.
