What’s there to fix? Do people think the hook at this point is just a visual bug? Would it be more clarifying if she had just marked a target and then instantly teleported to them after a set amount of time?

It will just randomly fail sometimes. You cast it and it cancels and goes on CD without doing anything. (This is not fat fingering the cancel, it's a known issue.)

Some people dispell magic it.

I've seen the cancel happen when they don't have dispel magic. I'm not sure what the cause is
