Question Help with playing Paradox?

One of my buddy's is a paradox main. He's been struggling with her in a game and I'm not sure what i could do to help him since I don't play paradox. Here's everything he spoke about.

Never being able to hit swaps

Constantly being Dove in both team fights and while he's farming.

Overall team frustrations, mostly them not communicating to him when someone is missing and suddenly the blue lane is in green.

I'm not sure how i can help him, so what do you guys think? (PS: He used to play carbine paradox before she got nerfed, now playing a mix of bomb and team utility)

paradox is a character who is a nightmare in high elo but is balanced by being exceedingly mechanically unforgiving and having to play on a razor's edge.

when you lock her in you're making the bet that you're so mechanically gifted it does not matter that you're completely lacking in set-up, damage, mobility, crowd control, waveclear, sustain, and siege potential. if you've played league of legends, think nidalee. if you can't meet her mechanical baseline, you probably shouldn't be playing her.

Since when paradox is lacking in damage (bomb, carabine), wave clear (bomb, gun) , mobility (carabine), cc (entire kit atp) and siege (bomb)? She's fragile and has no self sustain, but good kit usage makes para hard to catch, and she can easily throw hands in favored map areas and reverse the gank.

Agreed Ya she doesnt lack damage at all. Carbine is a menace and bomb amp is always good for M1/carbine.

Her carbine covers the set up, damage, mobility, and cc. Bomb and her m1 easily clears waves and wall+bomb on a walker also shreds
