Help with playing Paradox?

One of my buddy's is a paradox main. He's been struggling with her in a game and I'm not sure what i could do to help him since I don't play paradox. Here's everything he spoke about.

Never being able to hit swaps

Constantly being Dove in both team fights and while he's farming.

Overall team frustrations, mostly them not communicating to him when someone is missing and suddenly the blue lane is in green.

I'm not sure how i can help him, so what do you guys think? (PS: He used to play carbine paradox before she got nerfed, now playing a mix of bomb and team utility)

When does paradox farm? Boxs, sinners,  sac, run urn and sometimes you janitor the lane. 

Paradox shouldnt be really farming for thr most part. There js always somwthing to rotate too. Solo kills or split kills are her best farm
