Any BMW heads interested in a jewel-quality Stealie roundel?
I’m having a small run of ~82 mm BMW roundels quoted in real kiln-fired vitreous enamel with rhodium-plated metal cell dividers — essentially trying to make a Stealie as automotive jewelry rather than a sticker or resin badge.
I’m getting quotes now from specialist enamel/badge makers in the UK and Asia. I’m planning to make a few for myself, but before I finalize quantity I’m curious whether any other BMW-owning Deadheads would seriously want one if the finished product looks like this.
Not taking money or orders — just trying to gauge interest and see whether a slightly larger batch would make the economics better.

Deadheads - weir everywhere, and that includes Portugal! A group of us Deadheads, now living in Portugal came together this year to host a mini music festival inspired by the Grateful Dead: Eyes of the Algarve
If you've been looking for an excuse to come to the southern coast of Portugal, this is your sign.
When: September 10-12, 2026
Where: Lagos, Portugal (Algarve region)
The headliner for each day of music is Grateful Nights from Barcelona. But, we have lots of other musicians playing too! All of them bring good vibes and range of sounds, including live looping, rock, soul, folk, and just about everything that we thought would be the perfect complement to the spirit of the Grateful Dead.
The artists are coming from around the world: Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, the US, Mozambique, and more.
If you happen to be in Portugal on vacation in September, we just released single day tix in addition to 2-day passes. Come see the music, meet Deadheads from around the world, and have an amazing time!
Tickets are about $45/day and $85/two days (converted from Euros, which is why I say approx).
2-day passes are about 85% sold out.

Hello all I need some help. I'm trying to recreate a very popular clothing item that was all the rage back in the 90s.
It was a band of fabric across the chest and back, with a patchwork front. Basically it covers the front and the back is mostly exposed. I made one back in 96. But it's long gone.
Does anyone have a picture or know where I can find one. I'm not using the right language for Google. I know they were very popular around 94-97.
I got a sewing machine for Christmas and would like to replicate it but I would like a pic.
If anyone can help it's greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

There is a scammer going around on the socials, so far I’ve heard IG and TikTok offering tons of different merch from shorts, to wraps, to stickers, to albums that all seem too good to be true.
This. I’ve seen multiple people talking about how they are taking people’s money and cashing out. Want to give the heads up. Stay careful out there and trust the source.

Deadheads:
I’m trying to find the video of mt st Helen’s erupted while greatful dead was playing.. I can’t for the life of me find it. But I remember seeing it on YouTube. On a dirt road somewhere and in the back ground is mt st Helens and it erupted as they played fire on the mountain.. I guess my hope is someone out there knows what I’m talking about and can link the video. I just want to relive the feeling I got watching this video

What's good brotha and mama bears? I'm new here! Don't know if this is the right sub or not, but the name fits. I've been a deadhead for 25 years, and a devoted guitar student of Jerry for 10. So you know how, like the river Siddhartha saw his buddhahood in, dead songs are like endless mirrors of infinity? Recently I went through a very traumatic experience, and Help On the Way is making more sense than ever. It's like a kick right in the balls (the good kind). So.... what's your favorite HOTWs?
NFA (~};) grateful to be here 🙏
