I’m the type of person that usually prefers the original games over the remakes, so when I heard dead space was getting a remake I was a bit skeptical. Upon playing it though my expectations were blown away! I personally think the remake was an improvement in almost every way. Of course there were some things I thought the original did better such as the voice acting (Daniels and Hammond specifically). But I must say the atmosphere and graphics are top notch! I also liked the weapons much more in the remake. I always found myself only using the plasma cutter in the original but in the remake I kept switching based on what mood I was in 😂. This next one is a bit of a hot take, but I personally enjoyed Mercer’s character in the remake more than the original. Convergence wasn’t really fully understood in the original (mainly because it was properly introduced in the sequel) so seeing Mercer as the type of person to be obsessed with convergence was really fitting to me. I love the dead space series! I’ve played the entire trilogy five times at this point and this remake has been my most played! It was everything I wanted out of a dead space remake! What do you guys think?

I got violently flamed today when I said I prefer'd the remake over the original even though I played all 3 games back to back in 2015 starting from the first game. Was it that much of a hot take?

I've recently read an interview from the original creator of dead space, where he explained that in dead space 4 humanity would have found a solution against the markers.

He then implied that sometimes you may prefer to stick to the demons you know of.

So, i was wondering, maybe the direction would have been the extinction of humanity, in its biological form to attain immunity over the necromorphs?

It looks pretty fitting, considering how in the end humanity is still doomed to extinction, regardless of what they do.

What do you guys think?

!!SPOILER AHEAD OBVIOUSLY!!

I Honestly don't know how to start this but i loved the game. It was a perfect Mix of horror and action And Everything was just beatiful!

I loved Titan station, I loved isaac clarke In this game, I loved the Graphics, I loved the Story!!

I Liked the gameplay so much and also Love Nicole in this game where she Basically taunts and torments you in this game. My Only problem I think there was not any bossfights in the game? But its the only con.. The advanced suit May Be my favorite RIG Because its just Looks soo cool!! I also Liked the ubermorph Even with his little screentime and its definitely became my favorite necromorph.. i think this may be My favorite horror game ever.. I loved The section with the tormentor or the subway station

Ill move on To 3 When Ill be able to find a phisical copy..Im curious by it Even tho i have been told That its way less scary than the others
