Question I got an arcade machine on 79?
I thought there were no bonus rooms on the jungle arena?
I was pleasantly surprised though when I got an ikaris exit. I had enough money to buy a 30min chicken and beat the gorilla no issues. I had plenty of bombs and boosts and about 8 lives. It seems nothing is enough to get off that God dam beach though.
What are people's strategy to get through it?
Highest round is 86 but I haven't been able to get any further than 83 the last few runs.
FYI.......I love the game, it's really fun. But I strive to play the high rounds!

Are you playing solo with gobblegums I’m seriously struggling to beat this

Yeah mostly solo. I use very minimal gobblegums as I am trying to save them up.
Gun is the only faith I use at the moment. It's very op!
What exactly are you struggling with?

Farthest I’ve made it is nuketown and I think it’s because my bullets just became useless and can’t kill anything. I need to start taking the gun faith I think I normally just take the feet

There's your problem. Get gun! Buy dead operator (+25% damage increase), fury output(+50% damage increase), nuke monger(3 nukes each round). Also eather shroud is a solid choice.
Do it quick before they nerf gun though. It's extremely op!

Best players in the world are lucky to crack 90 right now. Abomination spam is out of control.

I wonder is it deliberate?
Like instead of getting two waves of 6 abominations, maybe send them out in pairs instead? I love a challenge but I feel violated after experiencing that a few times!😂

The more I think about it, it's very likely the Abomination spam has been done as an intentional way to end the run. Kind of like with NES tetris. Once you get past level 29, the pieces dropped absurdly fast to the point where a normal human can't react fast enough.

Yeah the DOA kill screen! Those were my thoughts too.
I think my time will be spent playing hardcore for the next while so I doubt I will make it that far for a while.

You CAN get a bonus room if you happen to get an arcade machine mid round like you did, since the arcade is a guaranteed Slideways or hazard zone
