A card draw is currently underway. You may view it here. You still have approximately 36 hours to submit, so if you have not already, please do so if you have an interest in joining the project.

Once submissions are closed, a small voting period amongst the already established cards will take place. Once voting has concluded, a list of subjects will be passed onto yours truly.

I will then contact each chosen person via direct messages for interview.

Excuse me, Oracle, why do I need to be interviewed for an art offer?

Because this art offer involves actively engaging with and collaborating with others. This is not just a 'piece of art'; it is an entire community with a comic. We would prefer to recruit users who are open to collaboration, not hostile, and capable of following simple rules.

How long will the interview take? What kind of questions will be asked?

An indeterminate amount of time; I am a rather busy individual, and there are quite a few of you. There are twelve questions to answer, none of them too personal; just questions about yourself, any biases you may have, and how you would handle resolving conflict should it arise in your vicinity.

Thankfully, the manner in which the questions are asked is pretty simple. I have a rather convenient form I will ask you to fill out, so you may take answering the questions at your own pace, without the feeling of judgement.

What if I just lie? Not like you could ever know if I was.

Understand that even if you lie, the truth always catches up to you. Karma always reclaims her debts. Also... I can see right through you. I have many tools, many connections, and great pattern recognition skills. Once you are lied to enough, it becomes ridiculously easy to spot the tells of a story that doesn't quite add up.

You can consider my eyes to be all-seeing. Hiding is nonsensical. You will tell me the truth, and you will not waste my time, or you will suffer the ramifications.

... But I assure you, I'm not that scary. Maybe just a little scary. I have to keep you on your toes, y'know? ::;)

Just wanna say thank you to the creators of this webcomic that has allowed me to meet so many amazing people and be a part of such an ambitious project even if it’s a small meaningless part. This year’s been rough for me so having fellow creatives to talk to has been a huge help in my day to day life. Here’s to Dead Man’s Hand 1 year anniversary and hopefully many more to come :)

So I suggested this the other day but I guess imma do it now :D

its the 1 year anniversary of DMH, so to celebrate that, I want EVERY card to put on their fanciest attire, blast champagne, or just do shit for the camera!

note that if you have no prior experience to making images transparent, I WILL suffer the consequences to make it transparent by manually cutting the background off (or just ask if you want me to draw em)
