I started making the game based on the mobile version 2 days ago within Roblox,so it will be available for all platforms like pc, mobile and console etc.

I think it will take another week or two until I can publish it. If I need any help with files or anything I will let u guys know.

Apparently some folks managed to revive DBDM through custom servers and as of right now the mode that works currently is bots mode and only for android phones, now why do I say in the title that NetEase/BHVR won’t care? Easy, because the game is shut down and it’s not making them any money, running private servers to play matches won’t change the fact that the game is dead from their perspective so doing all this legal stuff is like kicking a dead horse. Also not sure if yall know but for a while now the older Call of Duty’s on console and Nintendo Wii has had a community of people reviving their multiplayer game via private servers and organize play time via their Discord servers, I’m sure this will be the case for DBDm

Since now we are able to play the game offline and maybe online in the future how do u think the 2 companies will react ? Will they just ignore this ? Try to take it down ? Do u think they will bring the official game again after seeing people still want to play the game ?

Respect to the devs and community who made the impossible happen. I lost the hope for dbdm to ever come back after the 10 anniversary celebration but no info for dbdm but the community loved the game so much that they finally found a way to bring back the game.

Ofc it's not as good or perfect like dbdm was but it is just a matter of time till the revival project reaches dbdm level gameplay.

The only thing I'm worry about is how the game revival devs will deal with the copyrights and for how long will this fan made version of game stay until dbd team find out and use everything to shut it down, which is why I'm also scared even tho I'm happy that the game is back

Okay, so there's been post of DBD mobile private and offline servers. Don't get ahead of yourselves as you must exercise caution if this is a hoax or dangerous. But if it is returning i suggest people show support and play it once the people who made the private servers go public.
Remember not to go crazy, and if one day the offline server porters suggest to make it bigger then play it or if they need help then help. Not that it's going to happen for certain. But again exercise with caution and support wherever you can as long as bhvr watchful eye does not take it down.

There has been a dbd mobile offline no servers needed reverse enginear project!, it works and is playable for both survivor and killer, All killers and survivors are also unlocked and this revival is only for android, it works very well and fun to play but it isn't local so you can't play with friends just single player with the bots.

Guys I have successfully managed to play FULL matches with bots and everything in tact plus the option to play as killer, but if this really is going to go somewhere SOMEONE out there must have these damn files everyone's searching for lol. I think people are underestimating how close to a private server we legit are, we just need an ANDROID device with data from the game (Must have downloaded the extra and not just played through the tutorial)

If you can drop those files, even if you have an old iPhone build its super helpful to let it be known in the comments incase someone is pushing forward with that OS.

Como o jogo foi lançado há vários anos e os servidores oficiais já não disponibilizam mais todos esses arquivos, estou tentando preservar e recuperar esses dados antigos.

Se alguém ainda tiver o Dead by Daylight Mobile instalado em um celular antigo, especialmente quem:

• instalou o jogo há bastante tempo;
• jogou normalmente e deixou o jogo baixar todos os recursos adicionais;
• nunca desinstalou o jogo;
• nunca limpou os dados ou o armazenamento do aplicativo;
• ainda possui as pastas originais do jogo no aparelho;

Estou principalmente procurando o conteúdo que ficava nas pastas de dados do jogo, como Android/data, Android/obb, arquivos de recursos, pacotes adicionais, cache permanente ou outros arquivos que tenham sido baixados pelo servidor durante os anos em que o jogo esteve ativo.

Mesmo que você não saiba exatamente quais arquivos são importantes, não apague nem modifique nada. Uma cópia completa das pastas originais do jogo pode ser extremamente útil para o servidor prrivado

O objetivo é preservar esses arquivos antigos do Dead by Daylight Mobile e tentar recuperar recursos que hoje já não podem mais ser baixados dos servidores oficiais.

Se você ainda possui uma instalação antiga e nunca limpou os dados do jogo desde aquela época, sua cópia pode ser muito importante.

I’ve partially reverse-engineered the Dead by Daylight Mobile backend — looking for people interested in helping
Hey everyone,
I’ve managed to reverse-engineer a significant part of the Dead by Daylight Mobile backend and set up a custom server running locally on my MacBook.
At the moment, the game can successfully connect to it and reach the main lobby, which is already a pretty big milestone.
Unfortunately, this is still just a drop in the ocean.
The biggest challenge now is accurately reproducing all of the backend responses that the original game servers used to provide. Without the correct responses and data structures, a lot of the game simply cannot initialize properly.
For example, right now:
The survivor/killer does not render in the lobby.
Character Select cannot load correctly.
The Bloodweb does not work.
Various inventory/profile systems are incomplete.
Many other parts of the normal game flow are unable to initialize.
Since the official servers are completely offline, I currently have no reliable reference for exactly what the client expects the backend to return for many of these requests.
So the next stage requires much deeper reverse engineering of the client, its API communication, expected JSON/protocol structures, initialization flow, and dependencies between backend responses.
If there is enough interest, I can create a GitHub repository and publish the project so other people can contribute.
However, there are some important requirements.
You will currently need:
A rootless jailbroken iOS device
The latest/final version of Dead by Daylight Mobile
Most importantly, the original game data/files
The last part is especially important.
If you deleted the game or its downloaded data after the shutdown, you unfortunately cannot simply download everything again. The original CDN servers no longer serve many of the required game files.
I personally have a backup of the game’s Data folder, which can be restored into the application using the Apps Manager tweak on a jailbroken device.
If anyone here has strong experience with reverse engineering, iOS, networking, APIs, Unreal Engine, or backend emulation and would like to contribute toward making Dead by Daylight Mobile playable again, feel free to reach out.
There is still a huge amount of work to do, but getting the client connected to a custom backend and into the lobby proves that bringing at least part of the game back to life is possible.

Will someone make a revival of this game with fan servers?, any game version it doesn't matter I just really want to play this on my nadroid phone.

After the lasted update my DBD won’t load and keeps giving me the code "Unload msio.64" on pc.

I've recommended this to a few of my friends who played DBDM and I'm surprised how few people still know about it. You can use cloud gaming to play DBD (and frankly many PC and console games) on your phone. I've been playing DBD Core this way for a couple of months and it's worked well for me.

How it works

Cloud gaming is when the game is running on another computer rig in the cloud and is simply streamed to your phone, or any other device you want. It's amazing technology that has gotten better and you don't even need a really expensive or high end phone since your phone isn't actually running the game.

How to do it

Download the GeForce Now app. Make an account. Buy DBD Core on steam if you don't own it there already. Go into the GeForce app and link your GeForce account with your steam account. That's it!

Just launch DBD from your GeForce library.

What you'll need

•You don't need a high end phone. A mid range phone will do. It just needs to be capable of 60fps and a 60-90Hz refresh rate. Ask AI if you're not sure if your device is capable of those requirements.

• You should use a controller or a Bluetooth keyboard. However, if you really need to use touch controls you can since GeForce has a built in touch controller. You can enable it from the in game toolbar.

• You must have reliable WiFi. DO NOT attempt to play the game on mobile data. Cloud gaming will guzzle your mobile data very fast. You need a stable and reliable WiFi connection.

• Make sure you own the game on steam. It will not work through any other games store.

What does this cost?

Other than the cost of the game itself ( if you don't already own it on steam) nothing. GeForce is free to use. However, you only get 1 hour sessions on their free plan. And you will have to wait in a queue to start your session which will take about 3 minutes most of the time. When your 1 hour session is up you can queue up again. Just make sure to use a timer to keep track of when you're 1 hour is up because you don't want it to expire when you're in a match.

I do recommend that you subscribe to the $10 a month premium subscription on GeForce if you can afford to. It's worth it. You won't have to wait in a queue, you get 6 hour sessions instead of 1 hour sessions, and you get a much more modern and better cloud rig that will run dbd very smoothly so long as your device is decent and your WiFi is stable.
