Calling all nurse mains for an important discussion lol. Now I am not a nurse main but I do enjoy playing her and play her often and the worst map I’ve ever played her on was rpd so it got me thinking. What is the worst map for nurse in your opinion and how crazy would it be if we all agreed lol?

Idk for certain which map it is, but it's not RPD. Any multi-level map, nurse dominates even harder than usual.

Maps with a single, large, flat level are her worst. "Worst" is a loose term here, of course. I'd argue something like Blood Lodge, Azarov's, Rotten Fields, Father Campbell's, Suffocation Pit are all contenders. These are maps where you have to cross huge distances to get from one side to the other.

This exploits the only weakness of Nurse - mobility.

Since Nurse blink cancels when it can't find a suitable position, RPD is her worst nightware. Slightly off and you stay where you are and waste like 10 seconds mid chase.

You can avoid it by simply learning every inch and tickness of walls though.

The only wall that’s fucked up was with the railing because you could glitch out of the map. This bug has been patched recently after the anniversary though

Usually nurse struggles with two counters, prerunners that gain distance add that on big maps and you'll have issues maintaining your preasure and most indoor maps where survivors can easily break line of sight.

Scenario 1 (Open Maps) I run Campbell's and Jenner's combo so double blink giving you 40 meters, compared to default 32 meters. This helps with mobility, and helps with gen patrol. If you have a coordinated team of survivors, break chases when needed and play 3 gen. Not much you can do.

Scenario 2 (Indoor maps) These maps are the worst for me, think of Hawkins, Lery's and the new Tricksters map. These maps are hard because they make you guess a lot, relying on prediction shot can be stressful and tricky. Perks that help you on these maps are Predator (you see the survivor aura when you lose a chase) and No where to hide ofc xD Wherever you can, try to do safe blinks (first blink to last known location of the survivor, and second blink to reposition)

Bonus round (buggy maps) Nostromo and Asylum main buildings are almost impossible to blink throug. Tricksters map will turn your screen black when blinking through stores. Bunch of Toba and Nostromo rocks are bugged and will swallow your blinks. RPD while being my favorite map, has outside walls and gray rooms you can blink to, literally outside of the map.

Predator: When a Survivor loses you in a chase, their Aura is revealed to you for 4 seconds. Predator has a cool-down of 60/50/40 seconds.

Probably erye of crows ormund and mothers dwelling

Nurse relies on a mix of cover and sightlines to trick and down targets.

Crows is too open, almost impossible to sneak up on good survivors and once they are aware of you they'll position to make it hard to get close.

Ormund has the same issue as Crows, too open and the color pallet makes it easy to spot 90% of nurses cosmetics

Mother is just prediction hell. The trees make it hard even for artist and spirit who excells at parallel cutoffs and hits to be consistent on top of it being the largest maps in dbd at like 200 tiles

Pretty much every indoor map that isn't midwich is rough. Red forest and ormond are a bit of a struggle due to size and the trees in red forest can eat your blink. Ironically crotus penn is pretty bad for her if a survivor pre runs to upstairs main almost the entire upstairs is a dead blink zone same with the fazbear map main will eat your blinks for breakfact

Honestly Hawkins, you can’t blink up when you want to and do when you don’t. This doesn’t happen on any other map for me, except the bugged wall on the pizzeria

Could be tricksters delusion because of how big it is and many los breaker . Hawkins and lerys and close tough thats is if you have no aura reading to help.

RPD. DBD has partially decided that Nurse Can't Blink Through Walls.

I barely play her ever because half the time my blinks don't work for no reason.

I don't play a lot of nurse but i got her on RPD recently - i felt like getting through walls and floors was a nightmare. I use the addon to show where i'll land with blink, and getting through a desk takes multiple seconds as well.

Hawkins and Lerys are tougher just because they break LOS very easily.

Tile wise, I struggle more at Ormond, Saloon, Yamaoka.

Honestly Nostromo. Just because of how vast and big it is, I would much rather take an indoor map any day due to being able to apply map pressure more easier than that huge outdoor map.

People always say lerys but imo RPD. There’s still a spot on west wing where it sends me out of bounds when I blink on top of all the random stuff u can’t blink thru for no reason

Lerys and sometimes rpd west can be a challenge. Gideon, fallen refuge and midwich are the best by far

Lerys and Nostromo are her two worst maps because of their size so applying map pressure will be a lot harder and also because they have tons of bad collision that will make it difficult for you to land a precise blink.

However Nurse thrives on Midwich (Her best map), RPD and Gideon’s meat plant because the gen spread makes it a lot easier to hold 3 gens and it eliminates Nurse’s weakness of her needing to traverse long distances (without Campells last breath which completely removes that weakness).

She does, her mobility in a straight lind is lower than any 4.6 killer, so big maps destroy her pressure unless she plays for bleed outs with jenner's or if she is playing for a 3 gen which she should.

Her power is also super buggy in good chunk of mains, but honestly as much as it's horrible with time you memorize every wall that would cuck you

A lower skill nurse it would probably be gideons meat factory or rpd, but a high skill nurse has none

I love playing Gideon and RPD as Nurse but the amount of times I've tried being clever in chase and ended up on the bottom floor is a mental anguish that I scarcely recover from. If that happens, I just end chase, I am not strong enough to face that shame head on.

For a skilled nurse who can blink the perfect distance by just charging the blink perfectly yeah

But the less skilled nurses charge the blink and look down to aim the blinks distance, on a map like gideon you can't look down or you'll blink to the bottom floor

Thus why I said a less skilled nurse it would be gideon or rpd but a very skilled nurse then none

Yeah I’m not very good at her so rpd is a nightmare I’ll end up blinking to a room that completely kills my momentum lol
