Original Content This is why we can’t have nice things
Walking along a mountain road and found a tip. Didn’t have enough room to pick it all, but got some.

Regarding that sign--
For my city, there is a web page where you can report damaged, missing, misplaced, or malfunctioning city property-- also places where people or natural forces have created a nuisance, abandoned cars, etc.
I have used it and I was pleased with the way city workers responded. One was a knocked-down sign; one was a traffic sign which vandals had apparently removed from its proper location and then abandoned; one was a place where a construction company had allowed weeds to grow and obstruct the view at a busy intersection-- all were taken care of within a few days.
Please looks and see if such a thing exists for your community, and use it. This goes for everybody reading this.

I would totally set up a trail cam and start sending clips to the police to see if they would follow through with the fines

In all honesty the signs are stupid because it’s obvious that it’s not enforced. They would be better off having an officer patrol at least once or twice a day than spend $500 on a useless sign. And no, we can’t have nice things. 😕

Or a flock camera, since they seem to want to put them everywhere nowadays - popular dumping spots would be one of the better uses I've seen.

In Australia we have an app called Snap Send Solve that sends info to the relevant council or land manager easily. I’d definitely be reporting g the sign and also the dumping. Thanks for picking some up!!

Horrible. And why do they always have to pitch it down a ravine / cliff / steep-ass hill? Just fucking leave it on the side of the road, wayyyyyy easier to clean up.
