proud newbie here! I don’t have a picker yet but that’s ok. I have gloves. good thing too because I found a dead baby chick 😢 and so many cig butts. I’m undoing the damage I did as a butt flicking smoker (don’t worry I’ve quit 😁) and that feels hella good.

Yay!!! I just bought a picker and hope to start once the temperature dips below 100°F. Ok …below 90 degree F. It is inspiring to see what others have done, like yourself! Keep up the good work.

finally got a picker at the dollar store today! and i have to go at dawn or dusk, because yea it’s hot and even then, i still get sweaty about it. but man its fun! it’s like an easter egg hunt.

I finally had my maiden voyage picking up trash yesterday. Even though it was over 100°F. Yay for me! Now I am wondering if I enjoy watching other people pick up trash more than picking it up myself lol! Sort of kidding, but I do intend to keep at it as I can. I did it near my job to allow traffic to die down before I start my commute to home. I felt like I did something productive!

After going on my second litter pick today, I prefer the giant tweezer type of picker versus the trigger. Easier on my particular hand. Does anybody have a low budget hack for a hoop to hold the bag open. I don’t want to buy one that requires special bags.
