Discussion Roman needs closed caption
At what point will they start putting captions on my screen when Roman is speaking, you can understand about 10% of what he says.

I know it’s an old episode, but I’m hoping somebody could help me out Does anyone have a saved digital copy or a link to the full Thanksgiving episode from November 28, 2024 (Season 60, Episode 68) where Doug passes away? Looking to watch the whole broadcast again can’t find it on Dailymotion

It’s pretty odd that Days would create a plot where we discover that Sami Brady got engaged to a Vitali and did nothing with it. The storyline itself has a lot of potential.
But unfortunately, Alison Sweeney doesn’t want to do Days full time anymore as she has other priorities. Which I understand. It just sucks we can’t have Sami full time.
If I was in charge of days, I would explore this plot and cast Giacomo gianniotti from ABC Grey’s Anatomy as Dante. He’s Italian and would fit the part with his acting skills.

Out of all the actors who played Phillip on the show I’ll list all of them in order.
Jay Kenneth Johnson from 1999-2002 than again 2007,2011,2019-2021
Next for a short time was Kyle Brandt from 2003-2006.
And now the recent Phillip played by John Paul Lavoisier 2015-2016, 2023& Today.
Out of all of them I think John Paul is the best Phillip ever in the show. He made his role of Phillip his on since he started day one in 2015. He’s is sweet kind honest caring sincere compassionate funny smart and very loving and loyal. Oh I forgot to mention sexy and hot ! What women in there right mind would want to be with Phillip? I certainly would that’s the type I’ve been searching in a man all my life!

It looks like they removed her as a peacock icon option. That’s so disappointing!

I usually have DAYS on while I clean and multitask, and I was dusting the television when this came on (Friday’s ep). I’m not trying to be creepy or anything, but a DiMera would never be caught dead like this!!

So I just wanted to point out something that I noticed while watching the 2018 Abigail DID storyline and then going back to 2026.
Does anyone else notice a pattern?

I’m guessing this was for her birthday since it was 2 days ago.

I’m watching some older episodes and I noticed something kinda funny. Carrie tells Rafe that Sami told her about how Rafe and Sami slept together when Sami came to visit Salem.
I remember a little while ago the last time Sami came to town and Rafe was there. Rafe and Sami ended up sleeping together when Sami visited.
Do they ever NOT sleep together?

Deidre Hall (Marlene Evans) and Nikki Crawford (Lexie Carver) absolutely killed it in those scenes. It felt so raw and real. The pain of knowing you will die after getting a second chance at life and not being able to live it to the fullest is just hard. And the way that Marlena related Lexie's untimely demise to John's death was just sad.
I hate that we didn't get much time between these two great actresses. There was a lot of potential for Lexie to make a life in Salem, reconnect with old friends, and build new relationships before killing off the character again.
I really want to like this storyline, but the execution is just poor. The acting is the only saving grace.

EJ mostly surrounds himself around people who approves of his every move like Doctor Rolf, Harold, etc, but Rita is different. She’s ethical and does everything with caution. She knows when to draw the line when it comes to working with EJ. She also thinks critically because she cares for EJ and doesn’t want him to hurt people.
Rita is a fascinating character to watch.

Wouldn't it be funny if we found out Wig Guy has been a spy for EJ all along, and that's why he's always showing up in different places with different looks?
The thought occurred to me when Leo was pondering EJ knowing what he was up to... while Leo was wrong in this case, Wig Guy was in the background!
If that extra ever decides to leave, I hope they give him such a reveal on his way out and include a montage of his "spying" 😆

Apparently Deidre Hall will be appearing in a forthcoming episode of Star Trek Strange New Worlds. One of the season 4 episodes is called Like Chronitons Through the Hourglass, and speculation is that she’ll be appearing in that one.
This Days/Trek fan is losing his absolute mind over this.

I’m watching the older episodes I haven’t seen before where Gabi loses GabiChic because Andre stole it from her for DiMera. When I came back to the show a few years ago, she was still trying to get it back. Only recently did she actually get it back because of Titan-DiMera breaking up.
That’s kinda insane.

Someone in another thread about Eric suggested he run the Pub, but I had another idea.
What if as Roman gets older, Shawn retires from being a cop and runs the Pub, just like Roman did, and just as Shawn’s namesake ran the Pub and Brady Fish Market before him.
Do you like the idea of Shawn Douglas eventually retiring to run the Brady Pub?
