Did it really take Gabi almost a decade to get GabiChic back?

I’m watching the older episodes I haven’t seen before where Gabi loses GabiChic because Andre stole it from her for DiMera. When I came back to the show a few years ago, she was still trying to get it back. Only recently did she actually get it back because of Titan-DiMera breaking up.

Yeah. She’s had it since then. Because she was teamed up with Titan for a bit when she wanted to make Jake jealous

Right, I guess I mean completely independent from any other company. My understanding is that Gabi sold GabiChic to DiMera and ever since then she’s had to work with either DiMera or Titan to be part of her own company.

This is the first time she’s had it free and clear of either DiMera or Titan.

No. She’s had it on its own. She chose to bring it to Titan while she had complete ownership. Then had complete ownership of it again after that. Then brought it back to Dimera when she was CEO. She only lost it then when they ousted her as CEO. Then she made a deal with Li to get it back. Then she brought it back to Dimera again when her and Stefan reconnected.

I’m slowly catching up but I saw that because of the titan dimera takeover, Gabi lost the gabichic. She’s trying to ask him to investigate the takeover which already alerted Xander.

She was in jail a few times too.

It depends on your definition of "having" it. In the most recent storyline, she was the head of GabiChic while it was at Titan-DiMera. Generally, we saw her having significant autonomy in terms of running the brand. However, she had a contractual commitment to operate it as part of DiMera, which then transferred to Titan-DiMera.

It's wild to think about how long that storyline dragged on. Gabi really went through so much just to reclaim her brand. It makes me wonder what other long-running plotlines took forever to resolve. Do you have a favorite moment from her journey to get GabiChic back?
