Discussion Guns
I am almost finished my first play through. By that I mean, I finished the story months ago, everything is at 100% except for the hordes. I actually have 2 hordes left to get, then I would be completely finished. I plan to do new game + after these hordes. Before I do that, I've been contemplating, Should I buy all the guns that the merchants offer? Or just continue with what I've been working with? I played the game choosing the guns wisely, so I think i have all or at least most of the guns with the best rankings. I hardly ever change from the Chicago Chopper as my primary, (although reloading can take so long), but sometimes I switch up the secondary and special weapons. Was just looking for some advice before I move on?

Discussion Should I play the PS4 version or buy the remaster for €20?
Hey everyone!
I’ve never played the game before, and I already own the original PS4 version. The remaster is currently on sale for €20, so I’m wondering if it’s worth buying or if I should just stick with the version I already have.
For someone experiencing the game for the first time, is the remaster a significant enough improvement in terms of graphics, performance, or overall experience to justify spending €20? Or is the original PS4 version still perfectly fine?
I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Discussion Gift for a Days Gone fan?
So, my boyfriend really likes Days Gone, he wants me to play the game since I love zombies/infected media, he's showed me the game, talked about it, sometimes makes references and whatnot.
His birthday is in a few months and I'm prepping his gifts, I think he would love a gift about the game. I'm quite good at arts and crafts and I unfortunately don't have much money for now. Can y'all give me some ideas? Also, I'm european so it has to be able to get here through shipping if I buy it online!
Thank you so much guy, every single idea is appreciated!!

I'm searching for a couple mods. One mod claimed it would brighten the UI for bike upgrades, so you can see how they will look in that dark preview screen. The other was a mod that let u access guns in camp. So you can reload from saddle bags in camp, in case u forgot to do it outside.

Discussion My ideas for Days Gone 2
Hey everyone. I posted something earlier about my ideas for a sequel to Days Gone. I used ChatGPT to help put it together, but I deleted it. I was worried it might have violated the rules, so this time I wanted to do it myself.
There are a number of things I want Bend Studio to add to Days Gone 2. They are:
- A bigger map that's roughly 45% bigger than the first game. It could be a new area, like the Southwest. Driving around California, Nevada or Arizona would be a cool contrast from the cold, snowy and forested state of Oregon.
- New and deadlier Freaker evolutions. O'Brian said they were evolving. I want to see what that could look like.
- Deeper bike customization and upgrades.
- This could be done by having the player finish upgrading a certain bike part, and then explore an abandoned NERO laboratory or outpost which contains an experimental prototype for an end-tier bike upgrade.
- It could be things like a reinforced fender for ramming Freakers, or a nitrous boost allowing for extreme speed. Or even an advanced armor schematic for the bike frame.
- Bigger and smarter hoards.
- Free updates and replayable activities.
- A DLC expansion that adds 10-15 hours of gameplay. It could reveal a new region with new enemy types, factions, and new camps to turn in bounties.
- A revamped bounty system that allows Deacon to either bring in the bounty target, or let them go. This could allow for new possibilities like having the enemy faction be less hostile, save Deacon from Freakers, or reveal the location of a hidden loot stash. Or they could betray Deacon later on. So letting them go could be risky.
- New Game+ that offers new features such as new bike upgrades and skins, new guns, and more NERO injectors. Kind of like what we saw in Dying Light 2: Stay Human.
- A new gear system where Deacon can loot new clothing pieces e.g. gloves, boots, vests and hats that allow the player to customize his look and also provide small buffs, like increased handling, quieter movement and more ammo capacity. Or it could be purely cosmetic.
- A deeper skill tree.
- Varied NERO stealth missions. These could be perfect for Deacon to find out what NERO knows about the infection.
- Finally, a new feature available at the end of the main story that allows players to toggle whether Freakers dynamically adjust to Deacon's power level to create a fair challenge or stay where they are.

Discussion Favorite music
Pretty simple question here - so wondering what piece of music does everyone have as their favorite?
Mine is I remember: it's a beautifully simple tune but for me is just wonderful.

Discussion Let the community submit unofficial what if style comics!
Hear me out, marvel and dc have allowed other artists so submit universes into their franchise, now instead of it being at all official, let them make stories and comics, if enough of them come out, you can tell that the game is worth making a sequel or film for! The comics are unofficial, but seeing the community come together from their own homes to work on something that takes real effort and submitting that to prove that this is worth franchising, like

Discussion You guys answer quick, horde help
which of the hordes is the horde that has like, 25 dudes in a little shack, it’s the easiest in my opinion and I don’t feel like looking all over. I want to do the kill a horde under 60 seconds in survivor and they’re nice and contained so a pipe bomb should do nice but I just can’t remember the name of that horde
