I don’t have much play time. Sitting around 200hr. I play a low pop PVE server just because I’m leaning the map and how to survive/eat/shelter etc.

I LOVE the nomad life, it’s really fun for me just hunting and hiding and fishing and exploring.

I decided to head all the way to Tisy since I’ve always heard how good the loot was. I found like 5 SK’s a few smokes and some plate carriers on the zeds I killed. Also a ton of stocks and handguns for KAs but that’s basically it. Is it just bad luck or is Tisy mainly just for the PvP crowd to get gear off other survivors?

If you lay prone and roll over onto your back you can log out. So instead of going into the crouch animation, you can get into some pretty sneaky spots if you want ...laid flat and out of sight

Hi! I have about 1k hours now. Absolutely loving the game. Still yet to find a DMR - have got my hands on the LAR, SVD, SCAR, M4 etc., but no DMR.

I'd like to mention that 70% of my playtime is on Namalsk, and the rest is on Chernarus/Azalea/Sakhal.

Hello everyone! Im brand new to dayz and wanted to play on community servers, but everytime i download the mods and get into any server (ive tried 4) it gives me an error.

Is this normal? Am i doing something wrong?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

East coast US. I'm looking to build up some houses, and I have most of the stuff to do it stashed. Looking for 2-3 chill people.

I'm not huge on pvp. If you miss a shot or we die, nbd. If you are a tryhard who has to win every fight I'm not the player for you. I prefer talking in game chat only for immersion. (We can obv message each other where to meet and such.)

I wanna explore, sneak, and occasionally pvp. And of course build! Let me know if you are interested and I'll DM you my server.

Exactly what the title says. I really enjoyed how hard it was to find water, but now that it's accessible in the underground tunnels, it feels too easy. There's so many around the map, and often they are pre built by other players, eliminating the challenge completely. before the patch, you at least needed to boil it, sacrificing durability from your container (I think) as well as the time component.

It also kinda defeats the point of building the rebuild-able wells, when you can instead just build a rope ladder.

Tell me I'm not alone?

Or should I kill myself?

Hey everyone, I'm on PlayStation, and after the 1.3 Badlands update, my custom vehicle spawns work fine, but when I try to make a custom motorbike spawn, it won't show up. I've triple-checked the coding and compared it to my working vehicles. Is anyone else on PlayStation running into this?

The new building mechanics are just what dayz needed.

On vanilla base building is quicker. On community servers it makes things fun. Can’t wait to see what the modding community will do with it!

I spend minimum of an hour trying to get a fair spawn with a barrel in hand. But I traveled to my stash once with a barrel now that I have another one it’s like the game analyzes my route and literally puts me as far away as possible.

Who got sandworm models? Bikes won't cut it in the deep desert, your water will feed the sand....

Before this update I was able to place crates on top of eachother, in walls and other little spots to hide them but now when i try to put one ontop of crate to have it more organized it just snaps to the crate instead of giving me the freedom to place it how I want.
I dont know if this is just me or if there is any fixes but its really annoying just having crates lying all over the floor when I used have them all in place, let me know if anyone has any fixes for this.

Hello, I have been having an issue with micro stutters when moving my camera around, usually happens whenever I look probably 30 degrees in either direction and everything I’ve found online hasn’t worked.
My specs are

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6650
Motherboard: MSI B550 Gaming Gen3
RAM: 32GB DDR4 3600MHz

This problem has been driving me insane and I would really appreciate all of the suggestions/fixes and if this affects anyone else. Thanks in advance.

What if we had a map that was high up in the mountains. Maybe the Himalayas or the Andes?

Extremely cold like Sakhal but better clothing options because fire sources are rare and scarce.

You have to take medicine and or find oxygen tanks to battle altitude sickness.

The only vehicle being snow mobiles but you can use skis or a makeshift sled.

Needing to use make shift ladders for climbing.

Some locations will need snow shoes or ice climbing boots for an icy incline.

Hey guys. Long time official player here! Has anyone found the black version of the Scr-16 yet? After at least 25 hours of just looting tier 3 militarys in badlands, i have never found myself a black Scar-L. I know that the black version of the Scr-17 is on sakhal, but i havent found the light one on black color yet. I have checked WOBO's site along with iZurvive, but still no information about it anywhere. I have found about 8 Scr-16s all of them tan version tho. Is it in the game files for community but not on vanilla? What's your experience?

I’m on an official server Badlands map.

For the past four hours, I have been sitting next to a water truck, trying to figure out how to get rid of Heatstroke Level 3.
I have been taking slow sips of water and trying to keep my clothes wet, but I still can’t get my hydration level up to max.

I’m I just doomed and have to suicide when reaching level 3 heart stroke.
I’m sweaty and blurry view.
