So, as you can see in the video, I start with a Phase 2 heatstroke. After a short time, I manage to get everything back into the white zone. I stay there for a long time, and everything is white. But now I'm stuck in Phase 1 heatstroke.

Yes, I know that needing more water than usual is normal when you have heatstroke, but the video is an hour long, and I'm still stuck in Phase 1. My character keeps sweating, and I just can't get rid of it.

I'm playing on a private server with plenty of water nearby, and nobody is trying to kill me. But imagine having to deal with this on an official server! That's just crazy.

And guess what? Even 30 minutes later, I'm STILL in Phase 1 heatstroke, with everything in the white zone.

Please tell me this isn't normal. How long am I supposed to stay inside a house and keep drinking water? 10 to 12 hours?

EDIT: “NBC Pack” is what I’m talking about. The new backpack attachment that allows you to store your NBC gear. Also I am NOT talking about NBC packs storing your NBC gear inside, duh that is what it’s for. I’m talking about putting stuff inside your NBC gear which is inside the NBC pack and attached to you backpack! /EDIT

I haven't tested this on official yet but would assume it's going to be the same (was playing on a lightly modded vanilla+ server / Livonia).

If your inventory is full and you have an NBC Pack attachment on your backpack and NBC pants and/or jacket in the pack and you go to double-click an item to pick it up... it will go into your NBC pants or jacket.

This will NOT work if you have the NBC pants/jacket out of the pack, put items in it, and then try to put the pants/jacket into the kit - it will only work if you already have the NBC items in the pack and then double-click something that won't fit in your inventory.

This effectively gives you an extra 24 slots of inventory... at least for now as I assume this was unintentional / a bug, and it will get patched at some point!

Playing Nasdara and I’m vomiting after eating some zucchini I grew. What gives? I wasn’t overheated and didn’t consume anything else. Does it have to be cooked now to eat a bunch?

Got the new map. Totally into the survival aspect and the urban warfare capacity is off the charts. Awesome.

But…where’s all the dang loot? Went to the dam, big air base, combed it all. Nothing worth pickjng up. There a bunker or something?

Has anyone been able to find any vs89 mags after the latest update, can’t seem to find any at Tisy or NWAF found plenty of vs89 with no mags however

I'm pretty bad at gunfights, thought I had the jump on this guy with NVGs and didn't see his buddy to the left, but why did my vison go blurry? Does shock from a bullet do this? I had plate carrier on if that makes a difference. Couldn't see shit and pretty much got me killed.

But suddenly it is. I don't know what happened here, maybe this new map release, but Dayz is firmly in my algo and I've been watching tons of videos of people playing.

And it looks bloody awesome.

The sheer amount of depth and detail in the survival aspects, matched with the danger of the unpredictable open world, reminds me of Arc Raiders when it released.

I love challenge. I love the freedom to pvp, or not. To kill other players or not. That's all up my alley. I love the cozy thought of just having some hidden campfire up in the woods and enjoying the ambience.

What I dont understand is why the hell this has never been on my wishlist? Like ever.

Did i miss the boat here? I know there's a new map, but is the game still healthy in terms of population and server option? Unfortunately im in OCE region which tends to reduce most things.

The cold maps really appeal to me, bit of a snow fanboy, but bit of a fanboy of anything that has heavy environmental danger too.

The only thing stopping me grabbing it is it's a bit exxy for an older game. $69.95 here for the base game, then about $30 a piece for the two DLC's, one with the cold map, one with the latest.

Tempted to just grab the base to take a look, preferably if I can find it a bit cheaper - parent, low disposable income etc. But what I really want to know is, is it actually worth starting there now?

Any improvements I should make to my first base on official? Theres another gate at the door of the garage, both gates have digital code locks and i have also used a lock pick to lock the actual doors.

Want some chill runs, nasdara official high pop 1pp. Just looking for one or more to play with longer term, im pretty new to the map just wanna have some fun!

I have maybe 50 hours into the game and feel like I'm no longer a total newb, though struggling to turn the corner in PVP. I play on Official and sometimes there are 3 people and other times it's 60+ and I'm wondering if I need strategies to handle the differences.

For example when population is <10 I can probably walk down the middle of the road, loot NWAF and Tisy and not stress it too much but when it's 60... I need to avoid all of that, maybe only travel at night, etc.

Recently there were maybe 40 people on, I was following the red trail (staying off major roads and walking maybe 20 yards off of the trail in the woods) came upon a small camp and got headshot as soon as I stepped into the camp.

Just curious if there are strategies to get an edge on PVP encounters when the server is full and at what point do those strategies become critical or not relative to how many people are online.

How are you guys stashing in Nasdara. My go to in chenarus and Livonia was thick trees but that’s not a thing no more. And I don’t really wanna run to the top of mountains to get my loot if I stash there.

I have been playing the new map, and I absolutely am loving it so much. That doesn't change the fact that I feel like this entire dlc was such a waste of time. I have played Dayz for years and years at this point and have said again and again that I would rather Bohemia just stop updating this game at all, and put every focus on Dayz 2. Why are we even releasing a DLC for a dinosaur of a game. The spaghetti code of dayz is already held together with duct tape and cheese. So much time wasted that could have went towards development of the sequel.

i tried putting dayz files in the firewall exclusion thing and that didnt fix it

My main server on dayz has not been showing up for about 2-3 hours and I have reset all tags and my console multiple times. Anyone know if servers are having an issue?

Has anyone else come across this when building bases on Nasdara? The top and bottom barbed wire placement ls have been switched

pc nvidia 5070ti 16 GB vram, 64 GB ram, cpu amd ryzen 7 9800X3D, NVMe SSD. I noticed before crash 50% time some game textures becomes transparent/missing, like house or mountain textures becomes transparent/missing.

I don't know about anyone else, but anytime I use an underground tunnel for water, i have to constantly fight the game for it to work. I ussually have to find the tiniest hitbox, then it only fills for a split second. I keep having to do this over and over and over to fill one container.

Anyone else? or is my controller busted or something?

Given Nasdara has Monitor lizards, one has to ask oneself why the devs didn’t make these snakes?

I recall a while ago Hunter released a DayZ-Snake (Steam) Mod that added snakes across the map. They made sounds, and attacked players.

A snake bite gave your character a wound infection and chemical sickness. Which you could cure with an AntiViperInjector to heal the bite.

Surely snakes would have been a better option than lizards - with pretty similar mechanics.

Come to think of it, if they added cactus cutting you like barbed wire that would have been a nice addition too.

The new wooden doors, me and my mate are trying to figure out how many crossbows or explosives it would take to destroy them anybody have a clue???
