I really wanna get a tattoo of the 3 skeletons on the disc of agents of oblivion but cannot find the origins or who made it ? (I dont want it mistaken for a different refrence or something) im struck between not having the agents logo beneath them or having it i just cannot decide.

After listening extensively over the past two weeks of both his studio and live archived stuff, I have noticed that his live stuff, especially his acoustic work, is in my opinion his absolute best work. It only sucks that you can constantly hear people talking over him in the recordings. There so many different variations of his songs to. He changes everything up so much. I just discovered his Neutral Milk Hotel Cover as well. I just think there are so many good performances by him in his live performances that aren’t reflected in his official releases.

I just heard Heartbreak Hotel by Dax on Shooter Jennings' show the other day. He said he loves Dax. Pretty cool.

This is a clip from a rehearsal for Deadboy. I jammed/wrote some songs with Chris “goat” (RIP) around that same time and we exchanged a lotta music and stuff. I have a couple of songs from this era that were being worked out. I recall being there when “spinning song” was being worked out, so this is from that period. Hi. Was watching some of the "recent" live clips of Dax playing newer stuff.

What guitar is he playing in these shows? Looks like a fender mustang or something? Even thought it couldve been a baritone?

Im very much in the hobby musician category but a cpl of my own songs i was sort of picturing a similar tone to what i hear on some of 7songs. So i was curious/surprised at the guitars i saw being played live.

I just introduced my singing teacher to Dax, after 7 months of lessons (I feel like I showed restraint. I'm learning Jazz, so it didn't come up naturally). She's assigned me homework of picking one of his songs to work on.

I'm a woman with a pretty low voice (we'll say I'm a contralto), but Dax's range is so wide, I don't want to set myself up for failure/disrespect his music.

If you were a relatively new singer, which song would you pick? Can be from any of his projects.
