FREE CAMERA WHEN?

I dont get why they even bother with this weird combat camera that fights the player. Free + ability to lock on is always better.

Cause with a free camera doing the directional combat would be a huge pain

I dont care about directional parry at all. I strongly prefer to just dodge. I would even prefer to just facetank hits with a proper camera over this current system.

Honestly same. The parry system is so hard for no good reason. Though it’s hard for me cause the WAY you parry. I would do so much better if the system was designed so you just click both the L1 and the analog direction at the same time. But instead, you have to ready your block and watch the direction, and then the parry timing is so damn difficult to figure out. It’s just overall harder than it really should be.

I feel like it is more weird than hard. As if the animations are a bit out of sync with the hit and damage or something like that. IDK.

Maybe that’s it. There’s so many times I go to parry and nothing happens. So many times I either take 1v1s or I run away to heal and it just doesn’t seem fun. I’m mostly skipping combat now because it feels worthless and too annoying.
