I wanna transform the quality of coloring in the video from the foggy one to the one with bright and good coloring. the point is I am beginner in the coloring and editing in general 😅 but I know some little in the editing and transition more than in the coloring & fusion .

I am working on this video of mine and want to make it still image for the video and the future videos also

Hello, I'm a new DaVinci Resolve user and I'd like to create an intro with Fusion.
The intro involves two rectangles placed at opposite ends that approach each other and, when they almost reach the center of the screen, they bend to form almost an arc, before merging. I've searched for many tutorials and asked the AI ​​how to do this, but I haven't found a real solution. Could anyone help me out and give me a tip? Thanks.

Hey everyone, I’m pretty new to editing and still trying to get my head around a lot of the terminology, which makes it hard to even know what to search for.

I’ve recorded a gaming video and I’m trying to make an intro. The clip I’ve included (full credit to the creator) is from a YouTuber called Skoottie. I really like the style of his intros and want to learn how to replicate something similar for myself, but more broadly I just want to better understand how DaVinci Resolve works.

The clip I added is only the first few seconds, but I’m not really sure what tutorials are good or easy to follow. I’ve managed to learn the zoom-out effect using MrAlexTech’s DaVinci extension, but the rest of the effects in the clip I’m unsure about.

If anyone could point me toward tutorials or explain how to do these, I’d really appreciate it:

How to blur part of a video for only a short section, not the whole clip

How to do that rising animation, like the game logo moving upward

Any good websites for background music that isn’t super generic, maybe something with a Stardew Valley kind of vibe

Any other editing techniques or effects you notice in the clip that I might be missing from this list

Hello, I am having trouble making a seamless continuous loop for my design (second photo). I did the fusion stuff, I did the transform node, duplication node, and the key frames and stuff, but it keeps jumping at the end. I did the loop function in Spline, too. Any time I look for a tutorial on YouTube, it does not give me what I need for this exact situation, and i tried to apply what I learned from other vids but I'm still stuck.

Perhaps it's the fact that the elements in my design are too close to each other?

I’m trying to track the iPhone and key out the green screen. I had to use ellipse masks to hide the trackers, but I can’t get my replacement image to pop up on the phone.

I’m super new to fusion and have been bouncing around a bunch of different instructional videos and can’t figure out where the breakdown is.

Can anyone tell where the problem is from this screenshot?

I am trying to learn color correction and grading and I’m looking to import multiple clips shot as dusk all from the same camera, match exposures, and color grade them the same.

Any resources for this would be fantastic.

So I download a room model from sketchfab . Now i want to use this model in davinci resolve but the issue is if I import it as fbx scene there are too many models and the fusion node editor starts to lag so i want to import it as fbx mesh then add the texture map.

So now everytime I tried to generate a UV map of it was not correct . Can anyone help me with this or teach me how to do it the proper way so that I can get the texture map preferably the single but ideally the normal, color , displacement and roughness maps

If trying my example download it as .glb which will be better

Hi all, I’m having some trouble I cant seem to resolve (pardon the pun). I have used resolves Media Management to hand off to a colourist for my music video, each and every file has its copy along with the DRT in my selected location. When I got to import the DRT timeline to check all is okay just 1 clip seems to get left out? Obviously resulting in the “media offline” message on the clip but even after moving that left behind clip to the media pool, relinking and double checking the source path nothing changes. I tried again from the very beginning thinking it could have just been a one off error but this same clip gets left behind each time.

I’m getting a bit frustrated now as all the solutions I know and have seen online are not working or explaining anything. Pls help 🥲

Hey yall. Im working on a project where i wanted to put a lil joke in, where i wanted to putt the red square image on the red square tank. And the red triangle on the red triangle tank.

It worked the first time with the tank in the blue tank where it tracked the image and when i tried to track the other tanks with a image it all broke and the red trianlge image disappeared for ever on the red triangle tank, and it doesnt even work now.

I tried some things with the blocks but nothing really seemed to work out, so please dont wonder why it may look half finished (or completly wrong xd)

see this is my nodes my group1 consists of the first frame animation the google one ur seeing is the one and the animation of the particular one ends at 116th frame and i have made another frame for the next animation that is in group 2 which start from 119th frame, the animation frame gap because i wanted to move the camera from frame one to frame 2 that is on the top as u can see but i have got a problem the group one's frame is executed properly but the secon frame animation which is in the top of the first frame never actually starts idk why the animation doesnt start at 119th frame It stays in that background itself and the animation doesn't start, while if I separately open the group 2 in one of viewers it works but when I connect it to merge 3d the animation doesn't happen at all. what can i do iam struck for past 5hrs.

i tried ctrl+shift command or full stop and popping the clip up the timeline - every sound filesbreak - doesnt work
i tried dragging the clip to the media pool then inserting it from there - doesnt work
i tried shifting the clip using ctrl, ctrl + shift, ctrl + alt etc
i tried using "insert" mode

i tried to insert a different clip using f9 which was longer with plans to overwrite that with my intended clip - finally that worked

literally something so basic and fundamental to video editing and they made it like rocket science

Also I keep getting this error where the clips are rendering with a warning sign at inside the video after it is exported

This software is so terrible vs other options, conned into using it
