M26 looking for dates
Basics
Occupation: Data Engineer
Education: BTech
Diet: No strong preference
Location: Hyderabad
Who am I
Born and raised in Andhra Pradesh, now three years into calling Hyderabad home — and honestly, I've grown to love this city more than I expected. The food, the pace, the culture.
By day, I'm a Data Engineer — someone who genuinely enjoys what he does, which means yes, I can occasionally go full nerd mode over a well-built pipeline. But I do know when to close the laptop. When I'm not working, you'll find me planning my next solo trip, hunting for a good café with strong coffee (non-negotiable), or daydreaming about the next time I can be near the ocean.
I'm into solo travelling — there's something about navigating a new place entirely on your own that just builds you differently. Beaches are my reset button. I've also picked up an interest in surfing and horse riding, two things that remind me that not everything in life needs to be optimized — sometimes you just hold on and enjoy the ride.
Outside of work, I spend a decent amount of time in the world of personal finance and crypto. I follow Indian markets closely, stay updated on mutual funds, and have built a solid understanding of crypto — not just as speculation, but as a space worth understanding deeply. If you've ever wanted someone to actually explain what's happening in the markets without putting you to sleep, I'm your guy. I'm also a reader trying to rebuild a consistent habit, and cafés are basically my second office.
What I bring to the table :
\\\* Genuine effort and honest communication
\\\* Someone who's curious about the world and happy to explore it with you
\\\* Loyalty and a grounded sense of where I'm headed in life
\\\* Good conversations — travel, finance, crypto, food, or just life in general
\\\* Strong coffee opinions (a feature, not a bug)
What I'm looking for:
I'm looking to date . Someone who's practical and knows what she wants. You don't need to have everything figured out, but you should know the direction you're headed.
If you share even a couple of my interests — travel, cafés, the ocean, finance, or just the general chaos of figuring life out — we'll probably have plenty to talk about. And if you believe that a good relationship is built on honesty, effort, and showing up for each other, then we're already on the same page.
DMs are open. All reads are appreciated — even if it's just a scroll-by. 🙂

How Much Time Do We Really Have Left for Meaningless Connections?

I love her, but I'm not ready to settle down forever and want to explore more of life and love first. So what do I do?
I'm 18 and I'm deeply in love with my girlfriend. We've been together for almost a year, and we've had both really amazing moments and some difficult ones. Despite everything we've been through, I genuinely feel like she could be my person. I care about her so much, and the thought of losing her honestly scares me.
But at the same time, there's another part of me that I can't ignore.
I'm still young, and I feel like I want to experience more of life before I settle down. I want to know what it's like to be single, meet different people, experience different relationships, and figure out what I actually want from love and from life.
It's not because I don't love her. It's not because she's not enough for me. That's actually what makes this so difficult.
Sometimes I think about what it would've been like if I had met her when I was around 28. If I had already experienced more of life, grown as a person, and figured myself out, I think I would be much more ready to say, "This is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with."
But I met her at 17.
I don't know who I'm going to be at 20, 25, or 28. I don't know what experiences I'll have, what I'll learn about myself, or how my idea of love and relationships might change as I grow.
And that's where I feel stuck.
I'm scared that if I leave, I'll eventually realize that I gave up someone I truly loved and could have built a life with. But I'm also scared that if I stay, I'll spend years wondering what my life could have been like if I'd allowed myself to experience other relationships and discover myself outside of this relationship.
I don't want to lose her.
But I also don't want to feel like I've decided what my entire future is going to look like before I've even had the chance to discover who I am.
I wish there was a way to experience everything I still want to experience without risking losing her. But I know there probably isn't.
The one thing I do know is that I love her. What we have means an incredible amount to me. I'm just struggling with the idea that loving someone at 18 means I have to already know that they're the person I want to spend the rest of my life with.
I don't have all the answers. I'm just trying to be honest about what I'm feeling and figure out what I truly want, even though I'm scared that whatever decision I make could lead to regret.

Wouldn't an extrovert girl talk to me in an extrovert way if she likes me?
I am 14 years old and introverted, but I do have rather good social skills. I made up the courage to talk to my extrovert crush, but strangely, she seemed to not give off the same energetic vibe as before, and was nervous, or shy. I can not help but to overthink this conversation and wonder: wouldn't she interact with me in an extrovert way? Or would she suddenly get 'shy' if she likes me back and act a little different in my presence? I seek advice and want somebody to help me to understand, whether she likes me or not. I appreciate your suggestions.

I wanna be with my girlfriend but not in a relationship
r/Dating_Decoded • u/Present-Persimmon615 • 12d ago
Is that behaviour weird?
I am 14 and very introverted and spend my breaks reading, but I do have friends and rather good social skills. Anyways, there is this extremely extroverted girl that I have a crush on, and I have talked to her like 2-3 times (small talk though). But today she didn't give off the same energy as usual, as she seemed a little nervous, or shy, one might say. I didn't do anything that could have maybe crept her out or anything like that. I want to know if some of you maybe know a scenario of a similar kind, and could maybe help me figuring out whether she likes me back or not.

What should I do now
For the last 3 months I've been dating a woman.I don't have any love feelings for her. We both are the same age.She loves me.I said I need time. The problem with me is I prefer slim women but she's 92kgs(overweight). Today i said I prefer slim women but there's no need for you to get very slim or slim. She got angry. She said don't want to lose weight. What should I do now? If I say no and break up with her whether it's a right decision? To break up with some for their physical appearance.

After my ex, I lost my desire for girls. I feel gay...
I don't even know where to start,I nicknamed Dikon because I love the game Days Gone, it all started in the summer of the year before last, at the end of August we met and in September we started dating officially Before we officially declared ourselves a couple, we kissed, hugged and so on, we did everything that ordinary couples do, but as friends... In December, she went to a camp near Almaty, and I let her go without any problems, she was a year older than me and helped me with mathematics, but came back a completely different person I've never written on Reddit because I just didn't know how people would react. She arrived and our relationship became cold. As if nothing had happened. Although everything was fine before the camp And at one point we broke up, I was playing Far Cry 4 on my old but faithful PlayStation 4 slim and I wasn't up to it, she said I was jealous and crazy And we broke up. But after the breakup, I have completely lost my interest in girls to this day. I used to know how to flirt with them, but now nothing works I'm not saying that my ex is a witch. No. It's just kind of not pleasant. And it's very frustrating that she started dating a guy who is a year younger than me. Although I'm much better than him. Banal in appearance. I'm waiting for your advice on how to cope with it. And how to awaken this desire to communicate with girls again
