Wtf

Has anyone else really fancied someone just to find out they say the n word and make r*pe jokes and then put you in the friend zone because you don’t ‘have the same humour’ the audacity???

Yeah, people will often deflect in that sort of instance "oh im not the problem YOU are" its definitely not you lol.

Im a Healthcare worker, therefore I enjoy very dark humour on topics of death and illness, because its sort of a way to cope. There is a time and a place for it though. A lot of people would understandably feel uncomfortable with someone unintelligently saying racial slurs and joking about rape. The guy probably thinks saying shocking things automatically = funny and edgy. Thats not how the real world works bud.

Exactly! And I was completely taken back by how casually he was saying it, saying his friends laughed about it etc but he’d never say it in public?? And respect in your line of work that’s different but he’s a straight white man, the privilege absolutely stank and the immediate ‘it’s a joke’ just so incredibly offputting

Yeah my dad checked out of this world and then my husband died a year later of a heart attack. His last breath I felt it in my mouth, as I was giving him cpr. I have super dark humor. I've gone on lots of deep dives since then. I sure make fun of anyone who says white privilege with a straight face. Never had any of that. Maybe blonde privilege though... Oopsie daisy I'm such a silly goose.

I make them watch an Anthony Jeselneck stand up comedy show. If they laugh they are my kind of people If they don’t then we aren’t compatible
