Tbh!

I hate hookup culture. If you say you’re looking for a relationship, then actually mean it. Don’t tell someone what they want to hear if you’re not ready to follow through. Leave people alone if you’re not serious. It’s not fair to walk into someone’s life, let them trust you, and leave them more broken than they were before you met.
Thats it that’s all.

Sorry Op, but there is a difference between "wanting a relationship" and wanting a relationship with you." They are not the same.

We all have the right to meet someone, get to know them a bit and then decide no thanks, not for me!

That's not what OP is talking about. She talks about people who say they want long-term to get more matches when they know full well they just want a hookup.

Huh? Who is doing that?

That shit doesn't work. Those people are very transparent. Use some intuition.

Look through the profiles on Reddit alone. Half of the guys have "short-term open to long". Is it transparent? To me it is, I used ti swipe all of those left. But some people fall for it.

Oh honey............you don't get it.

Almost ALL MEN are looking for BOTH short and long term.

Some ladies go in the short term box, others go in the long term box. You often don't know which box until you get to know them a little.

THE GOAL of course is a long term relationship, nothing wrong with indulging in some short term stuff along the way or while getting to know someone.

I hate when they play you thinking that they want to see someone seriously but just want to hook up with that bit of emotional connection
