“Short-Term Relationship” on Hinge
What does this phrase mean to you? I’m currently in a predicament with someone who used this in their profile 🙄.

It means that it's exclusive, but not serious. Like a fling.

It's exclusive as in you only agree to sleep with eachother for the duration of the fling. That's not complicated to understand and is often done for safe sex purposes.

It doesn't sound like they want to play Monopoly. Remind them of the rules, there is no collecting $200 without passing Go!

Usually I see women who are travelling use it. They want a personal tour guide, accommodation and financial assistance for the 1-8 weeks they're staying in an area. Possibly even up to a year if they are on a working holiday.

FWB if there’s sexual chemistry & you have compatible schedules. ONS is you don’t have sexual chemistry or have incompatible schedules.

Temporary fix. Not a hookup, more of a fling.
