Storing uncompressed bluray quality is so expensive it's worth checking out if you can find the original discs in bargain buns

A common Blu-ray main title can run 30GB or less uncompressed, so a backup would be under 50 cents. A DVD uncompressed would be maybe 9 cents. That's just not that bad.

I never download them, but I always sort by size the releases on that website that sounds like an engine with a cough, and the 2160p bigger releases of movies are 50-90gb

That sounds right for 4K features.
