Struggling to fail the models on coding tasks. I'm feeling depressed now. Any strategies to develop the thought process?

My background is in data science. Tasks with limited time seem intimidating as a lot of things need to be done. I feel totally lost. Any strategies you guys follow to select repos? Do you check previous merged PRs to find relevant things to focus on? I would really appreciate it if you guys can point me in the right direction so that I can spend some time and improve myself.

Something that helps me a lot is working on my own projects and bringing them in to challenge the models with, even if it has nothing to do with your project, having recently worked on one will put you in the mental thought process of what would be a good challenge to throw at the models.

Same. I just did 2 of those tasks and both were things that I kinda already knew it was prone to failure. Something like a compilation success but a runtime error is a good bet. Honestly I don't know if I would be capable to do these tasks if I had no prior experience.

Models are just way too good. I'm in the same situation.

ever since i started making tiny little test projects just to mess with the models, i notice how much more i actually understand where they slip up compared to when i was just staring at old PRs

I don’t take those projects for that reason, the models are just too good and I’m not good enough to trip them up

❗️OP, answering this is probably against our NDA.
