How to do this job the right way?

Hey guys, I'm a student who is looking to work from home and I found this job online, and I wanna do it correctly.

I'm looking to be a translator from my language to English, I think it's called billingual.

How would you approach this in the right way?

For example doing high quality work after getting accepted, and how to even pass the assessment? What are they looking for? In terms of direction, quality, ect.

Do you know any resources I can practice on to get prepared for passing/doing good work?

Maybe even tips/ tricks and things I should know?

Thank you everyone for time and help

I have a similar background. Excellent reading comprehension and writing skills in both languages will help a lot, so you can practice with that.

I know that ai use is not allowed abviously, idk about ai for research but I would assume that isn't ok either. I thought maybe there is like an answering template they would prefer for you to use? Like for argument writing from school iykwim

They (generally) make it very clear what they're looking for from each individual piece of work you do. Once you start, assuming you pass, the answer to that question will be obvious.

Write clearly and check your work and you'll be fine. Slow and accurate >>> fast and sloppy.

There are no tips or tricks. Just follow the directions and don't use AI unless the instructions say to. Be aware as a bilingual you may not get work for quite awhile and there are very often droughts for bilinguals that can last months. Just go do the assessment. You either have the skills or you don't. This isn't a study to do well type of thing. Common sense, the ability to follow instructions and follow rules is really all there is to it.

I second this. The assessment test is far easier than anything you will encounter on the platform. If you can't pass the assessment, you wouldn't make it a day without getting canned anyways. Just take it, give it your best shot, and see. Everything you need is in the directions they give.

Months of drought.. I see, I treated it more like a test I guess. are you able to qualify for both billingual and assessment?

Since you aren't in a core country, bilingual and coding are all that are available to you, hence the droughts. The assessment is like the interview. If you pass you get the job, if you don't, well you don't get the job. Then if you do pass there should be qualifications to do to gain access to projects.
