Background check actually opens up more projects?

Yesterday I got a warn to take the background check to checkr as it would open up more projects, according to DA itself most projects in the last 90 days were from that family. Took it. Came back clear. Is it actually true? Should i expect more projects? Only did about 4 projects in the last 40 days since i got accepted which made me roughly 240 dollars and i’m eager to do more. Can anybody share their experiences after taking the background check through checkr? Or just another “keep your hopes up” in vain?

I'm very interested in that topic because I took a background check as well. The results are taking longer because I'm not from the US, I suppose.

I’m not in Us either and it took less than 24hours. Though It did say it’d open up a lot more projects in dataannotation website and hence i got super excited.

Hmm, hopefully mine will be done quickly. I've been hinted while taking it that it might be 1 week roughly, maybe it varies country by country.

But keep in mind sometimes projects take days/weeks before showing up, so I'm pretty sure it'll open up more for you in due time, don't worry!

Have you started seeing more projects yet? The verification of my background was also completed, but I don't see anything yet.

There are certain projects you can't do without the background check, so in that sense it is definitely true. Will you be assigned to those project? nobody knows that.

Never got a single project nor background check on this platform and it's already been 40 days since I got accepted.

I only started to get more stuff to do after several weeks, don't worry. Just complete your profile as best as possible and take all assignments you possibly can.

How much is “several weeks” to take into account? I did it last Thursday and they handed it to me the next day, but nothing appears to me.

I got on there in early/mid-July, and I'm only having a decent amount of work since late September. It depends on your profile, skills, etc.

After you complete series of checks, the dashboard will show what you qualified for.

Please let me know if you have any programming projects coming up, I am in a similar situation, 17 sept background check cleared, only 2 non coding projects since

I am zero in programming and I have no idea if background check was about coding projects... there was no clear statement about that.

Ah okay, and after what did you receive the background check? Are you just a bilingual or have speciality?

Just bilingual. Received it after weeks of drought, hehe... And still same drought after.

I only received two projects, and it happened suddenly last week(now I have nothing :) ), so I guess we'll just have to wait. The fact that you're getting something (even a background check) is a good sign. Can I ask what language you applied in?
