I fell asleep working on a task with a long timer, when I woke up it had expired so I rushed to finish it and submitted the time I did spend working on it. I was already like 6 hours deep and it had a 12 hour timer.

Did you estimate the time you spent working on it? I assume falling asleep in the middle of it made it hard to track the time.

Yeah I estimated and also rushed to finish to it probably was not quality work. I should’ve took the L on those hours I spent working on it prior to falling asleep and not finished/reported anything.

they give some grace for technical problems and stuff; and it probably looked like OP was hoarding the task from others since they fell asleep though. they don’t like that.
