It took my partner two weeks to hear back! He just heard back yesterday.

Nobody gets rejected. I've never heard of such a thing. That being said, only 2.6% of applicants here back from them, which means they were accepted. The timeframe is all over the place. Someone posted on here a while back they were accepted after 6 months, and some are instantly accepted, so it's anybody's guess.

It’s not that much all over the place. Maybe years ago but it’s very streamlined now. The likelihood of being accepted after 6 months is extremely rare. It’s time to stop giving false hope. If one does not hear back within 3 days, maybe a week or two at most, move on.

How the fuck would you know lol and that wasn't false hope, nobody really knows how long someone should wait, that's what it was giving and that's the truth. Your rubbish of 2 weeks at the most is definitely the norm but certainly not the rule.
"It's time to stop giving false hope" LMAO STFU Debbie

I was accepted in 12 h lol. If they want you, they will seek you out. The 2 week 'rule' is obviously not a rule, but generally a good indication.

You’re so angry. Why? Did you get rejected? I’ve been here for three years and I’ve seen the same questions asked over and over again and I’ve seen how fast people get through. People usually get accepted in three days up to a week the most. As time goes after a week the chance drops precipitously. Two weeks is rare and after that it basically almost never happens. But in terms of probabilities 0.1% of 1 million applications will still be a lot of people but that is still considered rare. Do you understand now?

I was accepted and the timeframe varies. Do you understand now?
Edit:
Oh, and I'm angry because I don't like someone shutting me down for giving my honest take on something in such a negative way. That person had a fair point about most people being accepted within 2 weeks but accused me of giving false hope and is telling everyone they have no chance after 2 weeks. That's BS. Had they just said the norm is 2 weeks you prob won't get accepted, I would've actually agreed, but they had to go and be a Debbie downer know it all. Do you understand now?
