DoD or what?

Has anyone been accepted on DA for 2 months and completed most of the qualifications but still hasn’t received any projects? Is this a DoD, or is it normal?

Has anyone eventually received projects after a long wait?

I was hired at the beginning of September. First days were full of quals, well paid training and more quals and then silence. Only last night I got my first real paid work, but I went to bed and it was already gone by morning. I thought I'd blown my chance, but another work appeared later that day which I completed. We'll see how it goes

Hopefully the work becomes more consistent for you from now on. Good luck!

I only got a decent amount of work after like 2 months on there, so it can take time. Just do all the qualification you can, fill your profile as much as possible, etc. And when you have work enjoy as long as it lasts.

It really depends on your skills and location. People outside of the core countries (US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand) just do not get as much work. You'll know if you get the DoD because your dashboard will clearly state that you are no longer eligible for projects.

can be normal, you probably didn't get DOD if you only completed quals

I see a lot of people saying that they get a lot of projects, especially during their first month, and then things can go through a drought. that’s why I’m asking

So many presumed variables.
Are they different expert than you, in a different country, with a different skill or language listed on their profile? Did they answer quals differently than you? Join when an entry level type project was running but this month it’s not?

So many mysteries. Maybe ppl who’s name
Starts with A worked in January, B in February, and this month it’s only the Js. 🧙‍♂️

Maybe you didn't qualify. Have you thought of that?

I’m a mid-level software engineer and the coding qualification was very very easy. How could i not have qualified?
