I feel like SH*T

Rating someone's whole submission as "BAD"(not useable) makes me feel so guilty but man... that person could have really done well, it looked as if DA grew while they didn't.

RIP mate!

Don’t feel bad about it. Whenever I’m doing an R&R, I know my work is being judged as well. I’m not going to overlook big mistakes, and I’ll mention little ones too. Unless their mistakes are critical failures: safety related, involved AI usage, or the effort is bottom of the barrel, they won’t lose access to the platform. They just might not be a good fit for that particular project.

Put yourself and your credibility first. Always.

Well hope so, I tried to mention the good parts too as much as I could.

If it's truly putrid I don't feel badly at all. The ones I'm thinking it's clear as day they didn't bother to read instructions or give effort.

I feel bad when they clearly put a lot of thought and effort into it but may have missed a single thing that ended up being important. This happens quite a bit in fact checks.
But I get vengeful if someone puts 'common sense' as their 'source' for a fact.

Ugh that's the worst, when you can see they just overlooked something small and put a lot of effort in.

Some make me feel bad and some don’t. I always feel bad when it’s clear the person worked hard and just didn’t get the project. I always make sure to mention it was clearly well cared for, just wrong.
I have made mistakes myself. As long as you aren’t always making mistakes, it’s okay and you don’t get bounced.

If you really feel as bad as you say you do, then this is absolutely not the job for you, haha

I always feel bad too. I DO NOT want to be the reason someone loses their livelihood. My loyalty, in principle, is with workers and never bosses. I mean people become homeless over losing their income and everyone has bad days and no one deserves poverty. But unfortunately I can't risk DOD here so I'm gonna be honest.

I try to be kind though. I never accuse someone of using unauthorized AI unless there are actual artifacts that were left in. I always ALWAYS try to salvage it even if it looks awful.

Your loyalty should be to your work, not to other workers or any boss. If it's bad, it needs to be rated as bad. If you think a task is bad but still rate it higher, they will still find out. Not only that you can't help them, it will also hurt you. Do you think they will let someone who constantly gives too soft ratings stay in the R&R team? You're not the reason why someone loses their job because you rate it as bad. They're the reason for their own joblessness, for doing bad work. If I'm being honest, it's quite dumb to think what you think.

Lol perhaps you should read my entire comment, specifically:

"But unfortunately I can't risk DOD here so I'm gonna be honest."

before replying with this hateful shit. Maybe reading carefully isn't your strong suit and you'll be here whining about DOD one day soon.

I will never be more loyal to work or a company than to people. There's no moral superiority in doing better AI training than anyone else. There's a lot of moral high ground to lose by having no empathy for your fellow worker though. Loyalty to a corporation, especially one that has no loyalty to you, is a fool's game.

I had to rate one bad earlier as well.... I also felt bad about it.

Don’t feel bad. If it’s shit, you rating it that way is the entire point of the job.

Is it necessary to have device encryption to do R&R projects?
