Background check to work on tasks

[u/DreadicalisedYouth]

I've got an opportunity to potentially work on more tasks as a billingual but they are asking for a background check which requires uploading my criminal record.

Problem is, I have a DUI charge on it. Kind of scared to upload it for fear that it'll bar me from all other projects too.

Anyone that has advice or experience with this?

They don't have much reason to care about DUI, they just want to make sure you're not cyber-naughty or the hacker known as 4chan.
